So dream theater is coming to town, but they're playing at a venue with seats...i hate seated shows because in order to sit next to the people you go with, you have to buy all the tickets at once. I like general admission shows. everybody just gets the tickets whenever they have the money. if you wait its not going to get you a crappy seat, or make you sit next to some random stranger or somethin..

Man, this week has been ****.
Was looking forward to relaxing this weekend, but I got home today and our central AC seems to have decided to join life in ****ing me over.
It's supposed to be in the 90s the next few days too so not only will I be miserable but I won't be able to game or anything cause I don't wanna overwork my PC.
On a happy note: I adopted a kitty recently. (my first one ever)

Was eating plain old garlic until I saw Mizel, which reminded me of something. So I put some mustard on my garlic. Didn't really mix well though. Maybe I'll put some mustard on ice cream next time. Ya never know.

Wine is a program that allows you to run windows programs on linux type OSes. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 because I am too cheap to buy Windows. My computer's hard drive was broken by my roommate. So I had him buy me a nicer one. Being a brand new hard drive it didnt have windows on it. Windows costs 70 or 80 dollars or so. Instead of buying it I just decided to use Ubuntu.

yeah I liked it, the game got a pretty chill cartoonish style and it was a fresh change from normal shooters(I made a review about it).

Reasons I haven't been on:
1. Family.
No more school so I am visiting with the folks for a while. Recently my brother was deployed to Afghanistan and my father is off on a business trip so that leaves me a good amount of free time.
2. Diablo 3.
Not Mich needs to be said. This has actually taken up most of my time but I feel less shallow mentioning family first :p. Can't play on my now crappy comp, so I've been using my fathers. I will be without D3 for a but now :'(.
3. World of Warcraft.
I signed my soul away to blizzard for free D3. No school for guildies = more amazing fail guild runs. I broke WoW though so that's now outta the picture.
4. Python.
Tons of my non-game time has gone towards learning about programming. I'm awesome at it.
5. Minecraft
I broke WoW so I played some Minecraft. I've played for about 12 hours straight, found the server's stronghold, built everything, nuked it then built it again and then realized I could've wasted my time on something more constructive like spending time outside or creating my own game :p
6. Food.
I cook the most amazing shrimp ever. For breakfast lunch and dinner. Every day of the week so far

My father is the only one with a computer strong enough to play D3. Since my brother doesn't have D3 on account of him having a life and getting deployed I play it when my father doesn't use his computer. I play WoW with him and a bunch of family friends and their friends. We have the 4th largest guild on my server (15 people.). I recently broke WoW so I played some Minecraft
