So I have an issue with Minecraft :S

When I click log in, it just sits there on black screen, then it says not responding, then it shuts down......I tried rebooting my system, didnt work.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Never had that error before...

Whenever that happens (and if minecraft worked for you before), click on "options" in the launcher and then on "force update".

This fixes any problems there could be with blackscreening. If not, delete the .minecraft folder in your /AppData folder.
Always make sure to have the latest build of JRE (get the one from oracle, not from the java homepage.)

I got it working but it was cause I had the Photo Realism texture pack. When I removed it, it worked fine, but now looks like an eye sore again! :(

You think deleting the appdata folder will fix this so I can actually play with that pack installed?

If you want to use any texture pack beyond the standard definition of 16x you have to apply the HD texture patch first.
