I found this game to be smooth and fun, maybe cause I played it after the patch. I haven't finished it yet so I won't fully rate it or comment on it in full yet, but overall I give it a 9.9 out of 10.
Wish I had Linux to play with me, I told him I was going to get the game for him.
My experiences so far has been mainly solo, and in the beginning I was scared shi(r)t-less.
Haven't touched the game in a while but probably will go at it again once Linux joins in the action !

personally I didnt think it was so scary, though there are a few moments that really made me jump. Mostly random zombies jumping at you and hiding :p.
You havent met a guy named Ope yet?

The sense of scare was when you were alone in the hotel and knew there was something bad going on. I got that ... once your outside it's not so bad. It's when your inside that I got alarmed.

Yeah, I got that thing a little too, but then I got busy with trying not to miss anything from the suitcases and boxes so I kinda "forgot" the "scaryness", I wonder why everybody only got money and alcohol in their suitcases :p

I had the debug panel for this. It was amazing. I could just invoke the next mission, or place and edit a weapons details. Or name, zombie strengths, etc. The game sucked without it. :/
