Doing a research project on gamers. Could you answer a few questions please?

Hi there! I have considered doing some research on Gamers as well for a class of mine, but it is already behind me...thank GOODNESS!! Anyways:

How old are you? 28

What is your gender? Male

How long have you been playing video games? WOW...guestimating around 20-21 years

Do you prefer online or offline gaming? online for sure!

Have you heard of MLG (major league gaming)? yes *thumbs up*

Have you ever competed professionally? nopers...unless you consider pwning smack-talkers when their heads get too big "professional" :P

Would you prefer to play professionally or just for fun? fun for sure

How many hours a day do you generally play video games? If I HAD to avg it out, Id say about 2-3 (but that is with 8 hours some days and zero others)

Any other comments that you may have towards professional and leisure gaming. Gaming is an acquired taste...anyone can buy a game here and there and play it then return it or sell it, but it takes a true hardcore gamer to play an mmo for 40 hours straight with no sleep purely due to the fact that you are talking with AWESOME people and playing an AWESOME game and your guildies are counting on you!!

Around 3 hours on weekdays, more on weekends if I have nothing planned.

Yeah, exactly - when it's something like this, it's not a big deal. This person is clearly nice and wants to use our forum as a resource, which is totally fine :) Not just trying to advertise to a bunch of gamers. ;3

Now I really like this forum though so i'm gonna stay on here lol! Glad I found it.
