Well it's available to pre order on Game Stop, and they have it for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. so I'd say no next gen consoles, which most likely means no new engine.

Could always be like when PS3 and Xbox360 came out. They released a CoD then for both current gen and next gen. Even if that be the case you are still probably correct.
