True Rukitsu. Also, the DS game is called Altair's Chronicles. It is a prequel. Not a sequel, nore a port.

I thought that is was fairly easy to beat. Just long. I loved it for the most part. One of my favorites

I know what you mean about the AI I've ran up and stabbed civilians, not using any stealth and the people around keep on walking then like 10m further they freak out.
-
I think Assassins creed has a great storyline. That's what made the gameplay fun. Doing the same thing over and over got boring. If the story line wasn't so good, I would of never of beat it.

im really hating it atm. not because it's a bad game, i really loved it... 'till i got to the final battle.
The game won't set up to complete full screen on my laptop but it's nig enough to cover the entire screen. So, just when i'm about to finish the game, i accidentally click on the "x" in the top right. Its damned frustrating 'cos i have no idea where my mouse is, then suddenly i've left the game and i've got to start from the last save point...
anybody have any advice?

i can't believe you're still stuck on that.
AC is without a doubt one of my favorite games ever. I love the story and era plus the amazing innovative climbing mechanism and fantastic visuals. My copy of AC 2 was preordered the day after AC1 came out.

AC bored me to death, I didn't even finish it.
-
:O I thought the story would have kept most people engaged if the gameplay (as repetitive as it was) didn't.
-
If the gameplay is excrutiatingly boring i don't think any storyline could keep me interested. (i didn't find Ac's gameplay as repetitive as some other games) As lazy as this might sound, i would just look up the cinematics online or get a friend to tell me what happened. it's either that, or sit through hours of mind-numbing gameplay
