when school opened in 2007 for people our activity spiked sky high, from 6000 posts in August to almost 10,000 in October lol

so during school people just come on to relieve the stress and just talk to people, hoping it happens again :D

10,000 dang, I do not remember that, but I do remember when I looked back through my old posts I disappeared for 2 weeks but I can't remeber why.

What about 200.000 posts and more ? ^^

I think 200K is pushing it a bit.
We'll probably hit it early next year though.

I say 200,000 for sure by the end of next summer.

150,000 in 365 days? That's almost 1,000 every 2.5 days. Which is a lot.

Not really.
I've come on after a couple days to find 900 posts to read.
It's doable at the rate we're growing.

I'm gone for 2 days, and I have 1120 unread posts. That doesn't include the other half day.

Linux stats conclude we've been averaging 400-500 posts a day and continue to grow, 150k avg per day for a yr is 410.95, so it's not really shocking.
