Ooo! I love food. The mention of snacks actually kind of excited me. ^_^ But I think I would have to vote for peanuts. I LOVE peanuts and they're easy to eat, if not a little greasy, and they're not that expensive. Peanuts all the way. :)
Unless you like the expensive stuff like almonds and what not. =/
-
Peanut brittle. Thanks for making me think of that :D
-
So I guess I'm kinda a fatty when it comes to gaming. When a new highly anticipated game comes out, I usually take off of work ( paid days of course) and I stock up on EVERYTHING from Peanut M&M's. Oreo, Fun size butter fingers, plenty of Unsweetened Ice tea and Ellios Pizza. Its usually a huge even in my house.. But as of right now I don't have any gaming weekends like that anymore because Gears of war is over:(

I've never had the lemonade filled twizzlers... but now I want to go find them and eat the heck out of them... I'm starving:( been on a stupid diet.. this whole thread makes me want to cheat!!!!
-
Give in to the dark side! xD
-
I am due for a cheat day! Oh it might be this weekend!
-

They are super tasty. You shut your whore mouth!
-
You know CraeSC111 was probably born in a barn and that's why he doesn't like lemonade filled twizzlers.
-
And he's a terrorist. A barn terrorist!
-
Hot cheetos for me lately O.o
-
Well I was born in Texas. Close enough :p
Candied bacon makes for some good snacking. It tastes different :D
-
Ewwwww I don't like candied anything... but that sounds uber nasty O_o
-
Don't knock it till you've tried it. Some of the more strange stuff that includes bacon is good. Bacon cookies, chocolate covered bacon, etc
-
Ugh, I dunno. I dont like candied anything.
-
-
*vomits* Yams are gross to begin with :P
-
*Gasp* Yams are amazing. Shun the non-believer!
-
Pancakes :) pancakes with vanilla ice cream, or vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries, or hot raspberries with... well... ice cream. Everything with ice cream!
(except for nachos, I like them with hot sauce)
-
I had some waffles with mint ice cream on them. And butter. It was amazing
-
I cant snack while gaming, i would end up getting too much food on my keyboard and mouse.
-
That's why you just pick up a cheap keyboard and mouse. Unless you are into major gaming I doubt you need any of those fancy ones :p
-
That's why I want one of those awesome washable keyboards :P
-
yeah I got me a cheap keyboard for under $10, and I snack on either bagel bites or pizza rolls (totinos)
as for the consoles.... I only drink.
-
I've been eating the **** out of these Caramel Corn Dittos, they're like the Cheese puffs of Caramel Corn.
But a Bag of Skittles is always good.
-
Bugles. That is what the gamer snack I have been craving. And then theres the fun of pretending their claws..
-
Oh I haven't had bugles in forever. I don't know if any stores around here still sell them :(
-
I dont know if they do here or not either actually. been so long since ive looked :O
-
-
pizza its really filling and you dont have to wait too long just put it on before you start then when your feeling hungry you have a whole entire pizza! :cheesy:
-
I hate cooking while I am gaming. I always have to check it at just the wrong moments
-
Story of my life lol I always end up burning whatever I'm cooking :P

OMG! That is so me too. Do not let me cook anything AT ALL while gaming. The house will end up in ashes if you do. I can maybe nuke something and be okay. That has a timer on it. xD
-
Hahaha I've been doing better. I've been utilizing my timer so I just forget I have food.... but even then I still tend to get distracted and not hear it :P
-

I'm just horrible with or without a timer. =/ I'm just not destined to be any KIND of cook.
-
I *love* cooking. I made an amazinggggg turkey last night and munched on turkey sammiches while gaming :D
-
That sounds really good even though I just ate a whole dinner. ><" Hot dogs wrapped in croissants with baked beans. I only ate like 3 and 3 servings of the beans.
-
pretzels are my favorite I can probably eat two bags of 200g salted pretzels in one hour without noticing
-
I went back to my honey roasted peanuts that I have hidden beside my bed so my little 7 year old brother doesn't eat them all in one sitting. T_T
-
Cheese. Little pieces of cheese to nibble. Not the cheap rubbery one, but the type you would eat with good wine.
-
Mmmmmm I've been getting into good cheese lately. But it's so friggin expensive O_o
-

Haha yeah I hear you. Of Course you cant just have a little bit too.
-
You should turn all of that cheese into cheese sauce. Because Cheese sauce is amazing.
-
-
curse you all for making me think of fondue at work :P
-
There is a realllyyyyyy expensive fondue place here. Cost the hubby and I $100 to eat there.... but it was so goddamned good. The dessert... omfg. Peanut butter, banana's and melted chocolate. *drools*
-
That sounds heavenly. You should mail me some.
-
I made some garlic chicken mushroom bacon asparagus fettuccine alfredo last night. Was fkn amazing D:
-
It sounds amazing. I should use that many ingredients in something!

Jar of alfredo sauce. Cook up some bacon and asparagus. Slice and cook chicken and mushrooms in some olive oil and garlic. Add all of the above into the sauce. Give it a blast with your spice weasel:

And BAM! You're done :)
-
I wonder what PETA would have to say about that :p
-
That I'm awesome for using veggies in my cooking :D
-
But you're also using chicken and abusing poor spice weasels
-
I recently made some Christmas chocolates....cherry, maple walnut, orange, coconut, peanutbutter, srawberry. They're supposed to be for Christmas day but its hard to not snack on em when you open the fridge and theres 10 pounds of chocolates sitting there. Those are going strait to my hips...lol
EDIT: Whoa whoa whoa! That blue dude has four arms. Thats an unfair advantage....
-
You have definitely made me hungry for chocolate now. I absolutely love those flavoured chocolates. Except coconut :(
-
Id have to go with takeout... pizza or something. This happened to me today... I was playing Skyrim and i just couldnt stop... for anything. So logic took over and i thought.. "why walk to the kitchen and prepare food.. when i can just make 1 phone call.. continue to play.. and then simply answer the door and return right back to the game with all my needs met? hell.. ill even pass the bathroom on the way" and if you go the route of some fine china cuisine... they probably have pizza rolls :) so you can still get your pizza fix that way without ordering the same old boring pizza pie... and still be left with an amazing, over priced, rice/meat combo meal!!!
ughhhh....
-
I find raisins and nuts (with a 50/50 mix) sometimes covered in chocolate is the way forward for me, with either a selection of cold cuts (sliced brisket, ham, chicken etc) and either a glass of coke or water for me (coke for day time, water for night time)
-
I always decide to read this thread when Im hungry. Worst idea ever :P
New Years dieting has begun! Back to healthy munchies. Boo :(
-
haha! If you want to shed weight, dont eat pasta, potatoes or bread, thats it. I lost close to 110 lbs over 6 months just by not eating those 3 things in any form. Beyond that, eat in moderation :) (I still have around 60-70lbs to lose to my personal goal
-
Oh wow, congrats! That is an awesome loss :) I actually prefer a moderated diet versus cutting something completely out (like starches). I too lost a ton of weight... went from like 180 to 110-ish (which was wayyyy too skinny for my build/height)... but it was surprisingly easy! I've now gotten back up to about 135 and want to lose 15 lbs and for some reason it has been a struggle for me this time around :/ Mainly because I've gotten into the habit of drinking every day. So, starting today I'm going to be drastically cutting back my alcohol intake which should help a ton D:
-
My heaviest weight was 410lbs with a 6ft 2in frame. Now at 300. Being a former rugby player (front row), I was at 230lbs and I am aiming for around about 230-240lbs as it suits my frame well.
-
Oh wow. I bet with all the Rugby you were in great shape, regardless of weight. Grats again on that loss, that's awesome ^,^
-
I was in decent shape. Could do 100m sprint in 13 seconds, had a tackling power of 1720lbs per square inch at top speed, and a standing tackle of 950lbs per square inch (we used a tackle analyser to see the strength of the tackles and how much they would hurt/how well they would stop someone).
If you think that Kimbo Slice/mike tyson have a punch that equates to 1000lbs per square inch, its a heavy hit!
-
O_o That's insane. Maaaaan, even at my lowest weight I couldn't run worth a damn and still can't. Although, my thought process was losing weight = automatically meant being athletic. Doesn't quite work that way, unfortunately :P
-
In school I was known as the steam train...people hated being tackled by me in competitive games at school, hell even the teachers holding the tackle dummies were a bit unhappy with it!
In terms of sprinting, I came from an athletics based family, my dad was military, and he was heavy into fitness (being an RSM, he was a PITA for fitness), we did 5 mile jogs with him when we were younger, which when it came to cross country in school we blitzed it. He also did it FARTLEK style (sprints, jogs, sprints, jogs etc). In school we did 2 miles as cross country (which was twice around the playing field), I was done within 12 mins (aged 13 onwards) and whilst the rest of the Phys.Ed. class were either still on their first lap or just starting their second lap!
As for tackling, again, comes down to my dad. He played for the Army against the Navy several times, and taught me how to do a devastating tackle. My step dad when he married my mum, he too was a rugby nut, and also helped with my tackling.
-
I suppose Rugby was a perfect game for you then LOL I was raised by non-athletic nerds.... which, knowing me, makes tons of sense :P
-
I suppose a snack of mine while gaming would have to be pretzels. With pepsi. And a party pizza.
-
I tend to find myself eating chips a lot while I'm gaming. Specifically salt and vinegar chips. Seems to be the easiest for me because I don't have to use both hands.
-
Oh and buffalo chicken strips. :D *is eating those right now*

That sounds like an awfully messy gaming snack. I'm guessing you have plenty of napkins on hand. :cheesy:

Actually I didn't need them this time. :P Though they didn't taste as good as I had hoped.
