Subimes.. i'll check them out later. (when i'm on a different computer, 'cos the sound system on this thing is ****.)
Less than jake are pretty good. Reel big fish were also pretty good, then they did as their best song said and became "sell outs". Their latest gig was ****e.

Rancid are the best punk-rock band imo.

I've got some "search and listen" to do here, I've got a rather weak collection of punk rock myself!

It makes me so happy to hear someone appreciate the difference it makes having a good sound system to listen to and make some sort of qualified judgement on the quality of music. My g/f listens to music on laptop speakers as regular practice, and it drives me insane :eek1:

Looking back, I'm surprised I made my previous posts here without once mentioning Dream Theater. May this sentence stand to represent my opinion of their awesomeness.

I try to listen to music on the laptop. But it just sounds like a budgie farting in a tin.
I remember my mum telling me that my Dad was horrified when one of his friends bought a good car before he had a good music system. lol. My dad bought the best music system instead of buying a decent car... just shows how much music means to him and me. (we still have that music system and, i believe, the same speakers. Quality that lasted us for life)

Depends on which kind of "punk" you're talking about. The definition of that genre has been fudged a lot over the last decade....
Nickleback and Pennywise aren't real punk, to me.
