What are you playing right now?

Just dusted of my old copy of JTF.

Playing Dark Souls. It's brutally hard, but that's what makes it special. And I really like the gameplay in general. Definitely happy with the game.

Wanna try DS... too many games, too little time *le sigh* :[

I know, there are far too many new games to choose from. There were a few games I was going to get before DS, but I decided to pick it up sooner rather than later. One thing I really like about the game is the online. It's a single player game that makes you feel like you're still there with everyone else. I especially like when you've got a lot of souls (basically money and experience, you also drop it when you die and permanently lose it if you die before recovering it) and you're lost in a dungeon, low on potions and struggling to find that bonfire to serve as somewhat of a checkpoint and recover your health, and you see the ghosts of other players in their game and what they're doing at that exact time every so often so you don't feel alone. And you're relying on messages left on the ground by other players to help you find your way, and hope they're not luring you into a trap. It's the kind of feeling you hate, but really love deep down.

And for anybody reading this and looking for a game that gives you the kind of feeling a lot of the older games did, I recommend this. It doesn't really tell you what to you, you just discover stuff on your own, and take hints from other player's messages (they can only choose from a certain list of words). But even if you are going in the wrong direction, you'll still find treasure and maybe a boss, so it makes it worthwhile, a little like the old Zelda games. It's the type of game developers these days seem to be forgetting.

My biggest complaint though is the sound your character makes when he gets hurt. I don't know about females, but the males sound like they're enjoying it... It's especially weird when you're getting hugged by a tree monster thing (kinda reminds me of Redeads from Zelda), or when a thief or something jumps behind you and slits your throat, and your character just falls to the floor moaning... It's just wrong...

Was also playing Banjo Tooie before I got this. Got up to Grunty Industries so far.

I was playing some 'yakuza: dead souls' but stopped at some point due to studying too much. now i'm playing this one game on my psp (sometimes) called persona 3. its okay so far.

I've been playing more starcraft and Minecraft recently

Skyrim, SWTOR, Dragon Age 2, and Sims3....
