This is a game that I have literally played for hundreds of hours with multiple characters. If you haven't already I would definitely look into mods for the game. They add so much to the game. One of my favorites is OOO (Oscuro's oblivion overhaul).
As for what I've played today, I've played a bit of Crysis as well as Crysis warhead. Heres a tip regqarding that, if you have a 64bit computer, play the game in 64bit mode. The FPS noticeably increase. You may also want to consider running the game in dx9...

Fallout 3, for the first time.... My friend just gave it to me and I'm pursuing the good path for the time being.... I'm pretty sure I'm gonna snap and blow up Megaton just to shut up that annoying girl in the Gun/ammo store...
