I played resistance 1 and could not beat the first level. I'm sure its cuz I suck. I haven't picked up that game since.

mw3.... (sigh) friends wanted me to join in with them. and so far, I'm not joining them cause I always play campaign first... THEN online play. haha. I'm nowhere near done. I'm a different type of person when it comes to FPS's... i'm more action/adventure/RPG/ and the list goes on... haha.

I had to grab a gamefly free trial to get some games out of the way that I am to cheap to buy.
10 day free trial? I just put 20 hours into dynasty warriors gundam3 and dungeon siege3 each.

I've rarely dabbled with melee classes. Played Amazon, Necro and Druid the most.

I never liked the Druid. If you go summons you're a wanna be necromancer, if you go caster you're a wannabe sorceress, if you go shapeshifting you are just a less powerful version of an assassin. :p

I was hoping to be playing the new SSX as it was released today in the UK and I had it pre-ordered, but I was obviously excited for it too much that sod's law made the game stay at home and not be delivered. So angry.
Tip: Never order from The Hut, they're fooking terrible.

Playing Dark Souls. It's brutally hard, but that's what makes it special. And I really like the gameplay in general. Definitely happy with the game.

I know, there are far too many new games to choose from. There were a few games I was going to get before DS, but I decided to pick it up sooner rather than later. One thing I really like about the game is the online. It's a single player game that makes you feel like you're still there with everyone else. I especially like when you've got a lot of souls (basically money and experience, you also drop it when you die and permanently lose it if you die before recovering it) and you're lost in a dungeon, low on potions and struggling to find that bonfire to serve as somewhat of a checkpoint and recover your health, and you see the ghosts of other players in their game and what they're doing at that exact time every so often so you don't feel alone. And you're relying on messages left on the ground by other players to help you find your way, and hope they're not luring you into a trap. It's the kind of feeling you hate, but really love deep down.
And for anybody reading this and looking for a game that gives you the kind of feeling a lot of the older games did, I recommend this. It doesn't really tell you what to you, you just discover stuff on your own, and take hints from other player's messages (they can only choose from a certain list of words). But even if you are going in the wrong direction, you'll still find treasure and maybe a boss, so it makes it worthwhile, a little like the old Zelda games. It's the type of game developers these days seem to be forgetting.
My biggest complaint though is the sound your character makes when he gets hurt. I don't know about females, but the males sound like they're enjoying it... It's especially weird when you're getting hugged by a tree monster thing (kinda reminds me of Redeads from Zelda), or when a thief or something jumps behind you and slits your throat, and your character just falls to the floor moaning... It's just wrong...
Was also playing Banjo Tooie before I got this. Got up to Grunty Industries so far.

Im playing a classic. This game is a must play for anyone who likes old RPGs. Im almost tempted to call it tactical because you move and attack on a square grid in real time. Anyways, there is some magic to this game that makes it have enormous atmosphere and an exquisitely unique style.

So I made it to Diablos lair in one sitting. Rocking max resistances, over 100 armor rating and 300ish life. And this is still going to be a tough fight.

I used to play D1 all the time with my friends. D1 LAN parties were always better than D2. But whenever we used bows we kept accidentally killing each other.

Got Baldur's Gate on sale from Steam. $5. It's been updated and includes the expansions and a new character/class :D So many hours spent on this game many, many years ago. Ah, nostalgia.
