I'd actually like to be able to start playing, mods or not :(
Dili and I found someone's random vanilla server that we've been playing on, and I actually prefer the game without mods.

Nah, mods are nice to have for things like moderating, though I don't think we'll need very many if we have a whitelist.
People are pretty attached to /home, I don't think we need that giant "essentials" thing with iconomy and everything... actually, maybe I will make a new thread and ask what mods people want for the server :P

just because I like threads to cross reference each other so the forum is nice and organized, the thread mentioned in this post was opened and is here

I'm gettin' in there and building a modest house at the spawn!
I'll leave some resources in the house close to spawn to help other people start out :) I'm getting these resources legit - not by item spawning! Take what you need to start out and leave some resources in the community spawn chest for others! :D
Heck, even come back and put some things in there for your fellow forum mates ^_^ let's get out there and settle the server! Endermen ho!
