    When Classes Start...
When classes start for you guys, do you completely give up games or wait and see what it's like before going back?

I start classes again in less than 2 weeks - I expect it to be hell because I won't be getting home before 6:30 - 7 pm on any day of the week - I won't be playing any games for about a whole month - i do that every semester, just to get used to it all

and after the first few weeks, you know what your whole schedule is like, if you can afford to play games and etc..

I have a few friends that completely give up gaming until the term ends which is why i asked the question. See what you guys do.

yea but some people could be forced to read or even want to hang out with friends rather than play games - i've had that plenty of times my first year :)

hope you are planning stuff out

Some things i'll want to do in college:
    Make a band
    hang out with friends
    get good grades
    work out.

It's gonna be a very delicate balance.

make a band - i tried that and failed miserably - i was in a band in junior high school but then we had a lot of time and not as much work lol - good luck with the band, i still want to set one up with friends but it takes time to actually set one up - i also wasn't able to work out lol - started over the summer

but last year my schedule was the best - i used to get home at like 12:30 pm 3 days a week and i had plenty of time to play games - now i picked late classes so I can go to sleep late and my brain functions better during the afternoon anyway :D hopefully i can do all of that and play a few hours of games in the weekend *crosses fingers*

I play games as if I never had classes.

I do homework on the bus or at school, never at home.
Bad choice on my part, and I plan on changing that this year. We'll see how it turns out.

I play a lot less games during the school year. Sports are a big factor, Basketball starts up again this winter. I played during the summer, but had practice like 3 times a week and games on weekends. Now, because it's the regular season Practice is every day and games are throughout the week. Then there is homework that I may have. I normally play games still though, just not nearly as often. I'll still be able to check forums at least once a day.

I'll probably end up playing a little bit of game a day. Like a game of universe at war, or maybe get a few levels on an RPG.
