Three CS 1.6 tricks

These are just three simple tricks for Counter-Strike 1.6

This first one is a simple one that allows you to make your name smaller in a games score table. (Only lasts one map, have to do it every new map.)

Surprisingly only a few people know about this:

All these three tricks i just worked out by fluke over the endless years of playing cs. =P

% acts as a space in the HLconsole.
there used to be other ones which im not sure work now where your name would turn into a HUGE line of txt taking the whole screen up. forgot how to change it to that its been that long. il try find out off 1 of my old buddies tho see if they can refresh my memory. i think try name "Spec_nopip" or somthing like that. it was sumthin like that anyway there was a few of them. anyone else remember how to do this?

i already knew how to make your name smaller but the second two are new to me :) i have seen people do that before i always thought they were lagging or something and it all popped up at the same time, nice tricks, thanks for them, i'll try tomorrow night lol

i tried the second and third one last nite but didnt work, i did name diablo%% but nothing :(

If you want to spam ur name u have to do
name "diablo%
name "diablo%%
name "diablo%
name "diablo%%

hahaha, with the name spam one, I've only ever been kicked from a server (i think it was automatically). "Too many name changes in 1 second"

lol its one of those auto kick scripts, well i think steam has it installed in it. too many msgs just give you a warning then kick you lol

hm...gonna try it again tonight if i get to play again lol, well just to try not to play lol, no time for that

have they worked yes diablo? i've tried it today and it worked - played today and remembered to try :) the change ur name to same thing that is - i got kicked off one server for doing it like 30 times lol

i just tried it on one of my favorite iceworld server lol - didnt work, only changed to same one once - it doesnt work in all servers i guess - its just annoying to others i guess lol - but i make my display name smaller a lot these days - i used to do it before but forgot until u opened this topic again

Haha seems like you had lots of fun tweeking around in CS 1.6

doubt it, he hasnt come back in 2 months - i predict his come back when i start charging new members for joining like those huge gaming forums lol :D :-P
