If a new company were to make a console who would you want it too be ?

Be realistic like Atarti and Sega cant be said because they no longer have the money. I made a couple threads like this at other gaming sites and like the interesting comments that it led to so have at it ......

I'd say either Sony or Microsoft - nintendo isnt the biggest company out there, Microsoft is and Sony is up there with their products

I dont think you guys understood my question , " a new company" , you listed the company's that already have consoles, list new one's if any at all such as .....

Dell, Apple , Phillips , Samsung or some other weird one's ...I've laughed at thinking companys such Wal-Mart , some oil company or some weird one entering.

oh - like real companies that dont make games - then i'll have to say a 99 Cent store or Rite-Aid lol - i dont know, its a pretty weird question u know

I guess i would have to go with sony. I think their console "Playstation" is a feasible selling product with good technical features. :)

No doubt, if not Microsoft then who else will do. The best quality will be obtained only from them. So Microsoft is better than anything else.

I'd want to see Phillips make a games console,I'd like to see some new ones on bench, SONY's quality have gone down too far, Nintendo... there's soo many of them.. microsoft.. well it's microsoft.. they have monopolies in everything.

Well, I would have to say Microsoft, they have good graphics and loads of money!!

and all those other dead ones which I'll list a few:
Commodore
Atari
BBC
Sinclair
Cheetah
Amiga

Tesco (It's just the same as Wal-Mart) could make a console. And the games could be about shopping like Dead Rising 2 (In a shopping mall), Super Shop Racers (You play a games character in a shopping trolley who has to race round the store), Supermarket Sweep and Store wars (It could be a Tycoon game where you have to make your shop the best in town)

Or how about P&O Make a console Where all the games are about ships!.

I have another good idea. Rare should make one!. And Banjo Kazzoie, Conker and Viva pinata could all be on it!.

Asda is the British Wal*Mart I think you'll find. Ahh they should bring back the days of games built into consoles :D I think Google should make a console, Search Wars! You have to search for items and weapons to kill various monsters, it should be an RPG and you have 1337 attack as the primary attack (just get the 1337 cannon out and it shoots out random words in 1337 like P\/\/N3D etc.) and the GoogleWhackAttack Where you find a google whack and it deals out 9999 damage :D and find images of weapons to use :D omg that is such a cool idea, PATENTED! :-P

How about a Stephen King console. In the games you should be able to play as characters from the books. Like Cell for instance it could be a game about mobile phone killing. And in The Shining you should be the father *kill everyone in the hotel with the mallet to win 20 points* :laugh:

But the thing is, your ideas are of the games, not how good the console will be, I would like to see some Stephen King games but more to do with fun than horror, I get bored of horror games fast, especially "survival strategy" aka "things are going to jump through the windows and try to kill you"
