400 GFP + 150 GFP Drawing -- Independence Day (July 4th)

Sorry for all of our losses again but to get a head start We will have a 400 GFP Raffle.

Second Prize winner gets 150 GFP. All you have to do is post here and say that you want to enter the raffle and your name will be entered into the drawing for July 4th. Exactly 7 days from now.

To enter:
1. Have at least 20 Posts
2. Be an active member -- meaning, check the forum often to post -- i will not give points to someone that barely comes onto the forum or does not contribute to our growth.
3. Simply reply to this topic and tell me that you have entered in the raffle -- no GFP required to enter.
4. Wait for July 4th.

How will i select the winner?
I will litterally pull your name out of a hat i have no working script yet that will let me choose randomly.

Prizes:
1. 400 GFP For First Winner
2. Get any of your topic stickied -- sticky will be taken off when no reply has been made in 30 days or more.
3. Second runner up will get 150 GFP. But Prize number 2 will not be given out.

as soon as i find a good cash mod and implement it onto the forum - should take place over this weekend, i found two already but i've heard things that they are easily hacked so i dont really want to try them now unless its a last resort

I wouldn't say that linux =P People might expect more then! ^^ like when you said to me i'll get my game and mod hehe. By hack does that mean people can just add more points or also remove points from other people?

hack meaning they can hack this forum and shut it down lol - its just vulnerable - if i meant alter points then i wouldnt care but they can somehow get access to the vb database of this forum, and if they do, its done :-(

you may have to wait longer than expected because i am really having a hard time finding a working cashmod for the points - ones i found are either ended or have too many exploits :no:

Wow, so maybe moving to vB wasn't as great as we first all thought. what about the one at the other forum LiNuX? I'm sure Mystickal would have a conversation about it with you unless you know the one that forum uses and found that it has a lot of exploits.. I don't know.. I would suggest using forum posts but that's never accurate because you could just go

mystickal uses vbplaza - the one with the ton of exploits, they kept it there because their forum isnt as active as it used to be and they have backups so they dont see that they have much to lose, and i cant download vbplaza anyway, its ended and blocked by vb site, and if i download from elsewhere it'll be an "illegal" copy and i can get into some legal trouble

Ahh I see, well I don't know loads about forums, especially not vBulletin. It would probably be a good idea to start backing up the forum more LiNuX incase *it* happens again, not to jinx it but you know.

update: I have found a working cash mod but Still looking to fix some stuff with it, can be a little while before all fixed, this drawing is most likely to take place this friday july 20th, assuming everything goes well.

sorry for the delay but the winner is hypershadow but he's been having some difficulities logging in - i'll try to help him out and if he cant make it i will make another drawing.

hypershadow5592 wins the 400 GFP
FattaT wins the 150 GFP

but both of you still have to wait to get the points as I still have to fix the point system even though its working fine in some templates but some features are off.

well i had some problems so i had no other choice but to delay it and the points that'll be given out will be delayed too now lol.

Doesn't bother me :P I'm curious how you're going to work out how much GFP everyone should have, that should be fun. I'd say round it to an average of 2.5gfp/post :P Or just make everyone have 0 except those who won the drawing

well you and fattat wont be getting ur points back from smf because you used it up getting the games remember? lol, and the point system is fine - view your profile or go to usercp and click manage GFP, your points are earning slowly as you post. Its just messed up on this template for some reason and earning capabilites as well, thats what im trying to fix now
