Make us a Logo

Make a logo for this site that goes with the Silver & Red theme. You can post as many as you would like and I will probably switch around to see which fits best.

The current one's dimensions are 600x65 and it has a transparent background. I am assuming you can make it bigger in width but not too much in height. And try to make it with a transparent background.

I dislike the buttons for (EDIT, REPLY, NEW THREAD, QUOTE etc.) so... I made a custom set for the forum. :spinny:

As I said in a different thread that I very much dislike the top menu graphics, so i created some new ones... (they took a lot longer then expected :-()

Personally I think it looks a lot better, but its entirely up to you if you want to use them.

thanks a lot for the logo - really appreciate it - and as for the buttons i will ask around if others prefer the current ones or the ones you have made, if i see more and more people like urs, i'll change it up

as for the top menu buttons i have already implemented them - just tell me if they look good or not - the top looks great now, thanks a lot fattaT

No problem I can't get any good fonts on PSP8 :( I can't figure out PS cs2 transparent things so eh! :P

oh wow, well when u click NEW from file - it'll give you options to choose white or transparent background

bringing this thread back to life, we are in need of another logo - i got some "kiddy" reviews for the current one and need a really great one made :D if anyone can do that, it'd be awesome lol

u always know what i want, make me something lol - something a bit more hardore i guess, and u came up with the background gfx and etc. so u should be able to build up something that goes with it, im really bad at descriptions im sorry lol

i like the current one but i've been getting reviews that its too simple and too "kiddy" if u know what i mean

but, in IE6 - i see the white background but its fine in Opera. Think you can fix that? I think its just me because i had a few others check for me and they seem to see it as transparent - maybe turn it to .gif - idont have any editors here to do that - i tried with paint but it screwed up the colors lol

If you're using IE6, you have to learn to live with the lack of png transparency.

yea i know, thats why i need his to turn the regular psd to gif, im using the laptop my school gave me, believe it or not, i cant upgrade to ie7 lol, they blocked out a lot of things, to upgrade i gotta take it to one of the people that can login to the computer's admin account, i have just a student account but it doesnt matter, IE6 isnt all that bad

just need that to become .gif :D

It will lose some quality as gives only hold a maximum of 256 colours =(

thanks a lot, more than 50% of the visitors use IE6 still lol, so i have to go with what the majority can see
