Black Wii?

Perusing GameStop and saw this...

...Why?

What are your thoughts? I quite like the white, myself. Seems kinda odd to me, but *shrug*.

edit: actually, thinking on it more, I wish more consoles offered a choice of different colors. Lime green, for instance. :P

I think its a fine. some ppl like to go with an all black theme in there entertainment station, and a white wii will stick out like a sore thumb. So to me i think its a great idea

Well it was bundled with MH3 when it launched in Japan, so it's about time it reaches NA

as far as i concerned their only 2 color for wii that is white and black..

Looks cool. And I agree that more colors would be great. I personally like Red but if you bring a red console near all my other stuff, it'll stand out. All my other stuff is black, including tv, the tv stand, even my psp...

Maybe a blue wii? Either way, I'd never play the thing. I've had my Wii when they first came out and I barely play the thing. It's jsut not fun for me at all sadly.

That kinda sounds like a bad joke. but I would get a black one over a white one anyday.

I don't really mind what colour, mine is white cus it came with a mobile phone for free when it came out years ago. But, black does look nice, its like having a tiny disk gobbling ninja by your tv set.

i think they should go back to the colors they had with the N64 such as the clear or gold. those would be awesome.

If you had a ninja wii, it would make it some what ... a more risky console, imagine if it had spikes the size of Jamaica,.... that would cause some damage!

Atleast it would be alot more fun to have, and we can own the world if we had one of those.

I think they just desperately needed a reason to run an ad campaign, Lol

I like the idea of a different colored Wii! In fact, when I bought my Gamecube, I didn't buy the traditional blue one; I bought the black one.

I thought there would be a hardware add on or somethin like that, but I guess its just color?
