Piercings
Today, I bumped up the gauge on my industrial from a 14 to a 10.

I'm lovin' the way it looks now! This is my first and only piercing so far, and although I consider getting other facial piercings every now and then, I haven't really settled with any conviction to get anything more in particular than this industrial.
What sort of piercings do you have? Are you daring enough to share pics? :-P

I don't have any piercings. I USED to have ear piercings but I was a tomboy and always had to take them out because I'd be running around, then forget to put them back in.
I'd like to get them done again, since I .. well when I was younger I used to steal earrings. Even though I didn't have my ears pierced?

I have my ears pierced once on each side, but i'm looking into getting my eyebrow and my neck pierced. by neck, i mean the bit above the collar bone where the neck joins the shoulder. But if i get either of these I'd have to forego martial arts for a while... and that just ain't gonna happen.

if i got any piercing my dad would beat me with a lead pipe and kick me out of his house. Right now its not a bad gig.

Mine actually healed up REALLY well and very fast - the industrial (or bar thingiemajigger, if you will) has potential to be a pain in the butt (or should I say, ear) because you are not only making two largish holes but you are connecting them with one piece of jewelry that can tug uncomfortably on either of the holes if it isn't perfectly aligned.
I just got lucky and have a healthy body and kept it clean enough, I suppose. I've even taken to the gauging without any grief... hooray for proper aftercare!
But, to be fair, it hurt when they cut holes into my cartilage. Past that initial pain of having holes punched out of my ear, it's been smooth sailing ;)

I love piercings, and had quite a few. However there comes a day in time when they gotta be removed. I had my industrial, libre, ears pierced and gauged to a 7/16th guage, tung pierced twice to an 8 gauge, and my eyebrows pierced. I miss them all.

I wonder..... if there is a hoop..... big enough to fit through both and loop around the straight bar.... because... that would be epic...

I thought it was somethin within the ear lobe.
if it was there, i'd be like man... you'd regret it later on. I once knew a person who went nuts after he had those 'gauges' removed, it was a big permanent hole... owww.

That sounds like it would be really... crowded o.o I don't know that I personally would find it too aesthetically pleasing, either... so I don't think I'd try it on my own ear, anyway XD Fun fact: I can hear the hoop that rings around the industrial click up against it really well. Playing with it is rather noisy (to me, at least.)

I have an industrial which is a 16 or 14? I don't remember.
My gauges are currently 12s. I'm in the process of getting them to a 4 or a 2. :]
I'm getting meh belly button pierced too.o:

If you got a more standard industrial it's probably a 14 gauge :)
