Playstation 3 slim vs. Xbox 360 slim

I think that I am going to be getting a new system soon, but I am not sure which one is the better one to get.

I am positive that I am going to get one of these, its just which one is the better one.

Neither one is necessarily "better" than the other - it pretty much comes down to personal preference. I prefer PS3 (also you don't have to pay a yearly fee to play online....) personally, but every member of the forum has their differing opinion. There are a ton of threads about these two consoles, but it basically just depends on you. Fans of each console will rabidly defend each one.

Thanks for the reply Muffincat. I guess your right. I was leaning toward getting a ps3 slim from the beginning though.

I would personally thoroughly support that choice ;3

It is preferable by a million points in my opinion, but I'm sure there are good things about xboxes too :P I just don't like them much from experience. But there are tons of people with xboxes on here who will give you a better argument :P

This is a fanboy poll :P haha so i voted for 360 :P

There should be a "both" option.....

I already have the new 360. I love it.

I think you should get a 360
because even though you have to pay to get online the online is pretty awesome
and I like the games on the 360 like all the halo's and you have to get the gears of war series
they are awesome games

Go with the PS3 this Holiday the online is getting a major overhaul which will change the only thing the 360 has over the PS3 atm.

But if you can I'd just get both, what it comes down to is Games and they both have awesome Exclusives.

If you can't afford the $10 a month for Live, the 360 is useless though.

Free online
built in wireless
removable HDD, can be replaced with any laptop HDD that fits.
Blu Ray Player
Plays every PS1 game, doesn't play PS2
2 USB ports

360 Slim
built in wireless
online $60/month
larger game library
plays some xbox games
HDD can be replaced with an official xbox one, which are expensive

it all comes down mostly to this:
- what games do you want to play?
- if your friends all have the same system, do you wanna play online with them?
- PS3 has free online, 360 you have to pay $60 a month
- Do you wanna watch HD movies? PS3 has a built in blu-ray player.

I would go with the ps3...... i've had mine work perfectly for a couple of years now lol

Personally, i'd go with the PS3.

I think I'll go with the playstation 3, because there are so many games that I want to play that are not available for PC which is actually really sad.
