Gamers Forum Awards

The Gamers Forum Awards idea has been in works for some time and after weeks of implementing and testing, it is now time to launch.

The awards system is intended to encourage all of our gamers to follow rules and have fun and be awarded for it. You can read more about the available awards at our awards page located here: Gamers Forum - Awards

In total we have 32 awards in 7 different categories. Some are very easy to get while others require work. You can view the descriptions of each award in the awards page to see what you will have to do in order to get the award. You will also be notified when you get an award by PM and/or email. And if you have any questions about any of the awards, feel free to ask.

Just to list the awards again, here they are by category:

Gaming:

• Arcade Leaderboard x50
• Arcade Leaderboard x100
• Arcade Leaderboard x200
• Arcade Leaderboard x500

SOTW:

• SOTW Winner x1
• SOTW Winner x5
• SOTW Winner x10

Reputation:

• Reputation x150
• Reputation x350
• Reputation x650
• Reputation x1000

Referral:

• Referral x5
• Referral x10
• Referral x20
• Referral x40

Fun:

• /facepalm Award
• Golden Fail of the Month

Infraction Free Awards

• No Infractions x30
• No Infractions x90
• No Infractions x180
• No Infractions x365

These awards are only given out manually now so you may not get them immediately but be patient. I will be giving out certain awards by going through the stats every week (weekend) such as the reputation, infraction, and referral awards.

We will try to automate the system during a future planned upgrade of the forum which should make it more pleasant for all of us.

If you have any questions about any of these awards, please feel free to ask. If you have any suggestions for new awards to be added, please suggest them here or open your own thread in the questions and suggestions board with your award and what it would do.

We thank you for being a part of Gamers Forum and the awards is just one way for us to show our appreciation.

They show under your name on the posts you make, and can also be seen on the 'My Awards' tab on your profile.

The Rookie of the Month award has been changed to Newbie of the Month because of the confusion it may cause with the GF Rookie usergroup.
