Bungie just plain greedy
with the new halo reach map pack out bungie decided to not letanyone play who hasnt gotten it. WTF?
i guess it isnt enough for bungie to sell a game for 60 that they have to make another 20 our of me otherwise i cant play their game.
as if they didnt make enough money as is, they have to make players buy their stupid content so we can play our $60 game.

yup! cant play matchmaking vs. co op is still a go. but ii think am fine now. i just found out BC2 is releasing Map Pack 7 Tomorrow. Good thing i went to their website before i did something horrible. :twitcy: Bungie just makes me cry.

It's not always the game making company, it's Microsoft.
Valve releases all their maps free, for TF2, Left 4 Dead, all those.
Left 4 Dead map packs on Xbox cost 10 bucks, but are free on PC.
Why?
PC, they are directly from Valve.
Xbox, they go through Microsoft, who charges the 10 bucks.
Yes it could be Bungie.
It most likely is.
But don't just point blame there, it's also Microsoft

even if it is Microsoft the thing that makes me mad is that in order for me to enjoy my game like it was meant to i have to pay an additional 10-20 for map packs otherwise its basically locked out of matchmaking. they should be a choice not mandatory.

It's Microsoft that sets the pricing.. and I can honestly say you've no idea what you're talking about.. You can go in and play EVERY playlist and find a match without having the map pack.

yeah if bungie was just about the money, a new Halo game would be coming out every year like... oh ..... idk CoD, CoD:MW, Any sports game..........
