Right so I just found this! It's called Need For Speed: Run
Looks something like Hot Pursuit but also there are hints of open world and so on. If you look closely at 0:38 there is a red car that kind of looks like a Nissan 300z with a spoiler, so that might be a hint that tuning would be brought back into the game! http://pdfresh.com/wp-content/upload...1990_300ZX.jpg
Other cars seen in this clip would be the Ford Taurus (police car) and the Ford Mustang. AND of course right at the start a red Audi R8.
Right in the beginning you see a man with shades kind of cruising, which COULD be a hint of open world? Maybe.
At 0:41 you get a tiny view at the map which says " USA -> Denver" and then you see mountains blowing up? Right when the mountains blow up you see a black car below them. Looked like an exotic so I'm gonna go with a Koenigsegg. At 0:46 it shows the map again but this time it says "New York" and a silver Ford Mustang driving out of the tunnel and then crashing.
0:47 you see a silver Aston Martin and a black Challenger (police car) IF IM CORRECT
Before the train hits the car, it shows the outside of a car... for me it looked like a silver Ford Taurus but I'm not sure.
At 0:56 a car shoots across the screen which appears to be a black Ford GT and then the title shows up which looks to be made of a map of the USA. So this game could well be playing across many location around the USA
Release Date: November 15 2011
I already can't wait for this one! :D
People say that this is street racing again and a continuation of Most Wanted. I really hope it is!

maaaan if they brought tuning back into the game I'd get back on board with the NFS series. NFS:HP let me down in that regard and made me cry.

I really enjoyed NFS:MW but liked NFS:U2 more because the game had much more customization options and the handling was really unrealistic in MW (where as it was only mostly completely unrealistic in U2)
Admittedly, those are the only NFSs (along with HP) that I have any extended experience with.

I've been playing NFS since... well since NFS 1...
NFS was handed from developer to developer like a very inexpensive lady for the night, I think its a good thing it finally returns to BlackBox, who are quite adept in the frenchise.
FYI, BlackBox made the excellent Hot Pursuit 2, Underground, Underground 2, the great Most Wanted, the mediocre Carbon, the terrible Pro Street and Undercover.
So knowing all the ups and downs in this long history, we can all stay positive with a great outlook on some mix of Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit here possibly with the Underground tuning flair.

Finally they are making a new nfs that is free roam or I hope this one would be free roam, because if it is then this game would be the best racing game ever:D

I <3'd the NFS tuners, so this looks really cool. Out of all undercover was my favourite but i loved NFS:U1 for its raw tuning abililty. Also the red car at 0:39 looks audi-reminiscent perhaps an Audi S5.

The orange one at 0:39?
Looks alot like a SL-class Mercedes to me... characteristic for the taillights and the top rounding of the trunk lid.
I have heard that this game will use the frostbite engine 2(the engine used in BF3)
If that is true and they adapt it good the game will probably look gorgeous.

IT'S TRUE!!! The cars will look insane!!!
Questions & Answers:
Why use the Frostbite 2 engine?
One of our goals with Need for Speed The Run was to set the bar for visuals higher than any previous Need for Speed, and working with DICE’s revolutionary Frostbite 2 engine, we’re able to do that. The visual quality in Need for Speed The Run is unmatched among action racing games.
Three games in one year is a lot, what happened to the once-yearly Need for Speed?
Black Box was the company that put Need for Speed on the map, and has been developing Need for Speed The Run for more than two years already. Even though we’re more than six months away from release, we have some groundbreaking gameplay footage to show our fans at E3. Currently, there are three studios working on Need for Speed games, with Black Box and Criterion focusing on action racing experiences, and Slightly Mad Studios working on adrenalin-pumping simulations.
What can we expect from Autolog in Need for Speed The Run?
Autolog is back and better than ever. We’ve found plenty of new ways to encourage friendly – but heated – competition between you and your friends. Autolog is now a staple to the franchise and a feature we’ll continue to grow with each Need for Speed game.
Can you tell me anything about the story?
All we can say at this point about the story is that you’ll be drawn into an illicit, high-stakes race with no speed limits, no allies, and one goal: making it to New York first.
You said this year Need for Speed goes to the next level, what does that mean?
This year, we’re pushing the limits of everything you’ve expected from a Need for Speed game, with a gripping storyline, awe-inspiring visuals, and the most intense racing experience you’ll find anywhere.
How good are the car physics in Need for Speed The Run?
The development team is hard at work to create road-hugging physics that are in line with what you expect from an action racing Need for Speed game.
It has been so hard not to talk about this with all of you! Need for Speed The Run is a high-stakes, high-octane race from San Francisco to New York. You’ll be pushing 200 miles per hour, causing chaos in urban traffic or blazing along icy passes while battling hundreds of other racers (and cops!). This game has blockbuster written all over it. I’ve been lucky enough to get some precious hands-on time, and let me tell you, it’s going to be AWESOME!
The visuals are absolutely jaw-dropping. Thanks to the Frostbite 2.0 engine, the cars look killer, the environments look phenomenal, and the characters are engaging as ever. As you would expect, we’re upping the ante on Autolog as well. This game will take Need for Speed to the next level.
I can’t share everything yet, but stay tuned for more news on NeedForSpeedTheRun.com as we edge closer to November 15, 2011!
yay, I wonder if it will look better than the SHIFT spin off.

Shift spin-off? Do you mean Shift 2? If so, I wouldn't call that a spin off, really.

hhaha as they said, they have 3 different teams working on NFS, thats why you get "realistic" and unrealistic Need For Speed games. Shift 2 was obviously going towards the realistic ones and The Run will very likely be more unrealistic :P Wtv it is, im sure it'll look outstanding! :D

With the annoucement of the Need for Speed The Run Limited Edition comes three new cars!
Along with five new challenges, the Limited Edition gives you a headstart with the lightning-fast Lamborghini Aventador, powerful Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and the unreleased 2012 Porsche Carrera.
Furthermore, we also announced Nissan 200SX, a favorite among the Tuner crowd, and a force in the Drift world (including being a Team Need for Speed car).
Finally, the Volkswagen Scirocco R is the epitome of a hot hatch. Unreleased in the US, Need for Speed The Run is the only chance you'll have to race it from San Francisco to New York!
Think i'll be pre-ordering this....
