Minecraft Tutorial: Crafting Weapons & Tools
Hopefully you have been playing Minecraft long enough to know how to get Sticks, Wooden Planks, etc. This tutorial is to show Minecraft users most of the weapons/tools they can craft using materials they find. Be sure to have a Workbench before proceeding this tutorial.
(1) - The Pickaxe
This one is very easy, and probably the most commonly known weapon/tool to make, a Pickaxe, you just simply put 2 sticks, 1 in the middle of the bottom row, and the other stick in the middle, then you simple put three woodplanks across the top row and you got yourself a Pickaxe, which can be used for mining metal and coal from mines, and you can also kill with it as well as applied with all weapons/tools created.

(2) - The Axe
Another simple thing to craft, just follow the picture and place the items in the rows in the according manner. http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/...l/Capture1.png
(3) - The Sword

(4) - The Shovel

(5) - The Wooden Hoe

Another thing, you can also use metal to create the same weapons, but stronger, and more longer lasting and effective, example;

That is all for the tutorial, part 2 of crafting weapons will be coming soon, with other weapons such as Bow and Arrows, etc. Thanks for reading forum.

I have Minecraft Beta, Im not sure which version it is, but I got INVedit, which means I can put anything into my Inventory, like Gold Swords, armour, tools, boats, unlimited wood, everything :D

I know what it is. I was playing since a little after it came out. :P
SDKs mods are the best, use those if you are going to cheat.

Yeah bro, I was introduced to it by Dean, one of my friends, Its alright, the only bad thing is, that the Gold Weapons and Tools break so easily, and its hard to get a house done, when **** keeps breaking on me. I always have the metal Tools and weapons, because for some weird reason, they last longer for me. And I use Leather Armour (Those both being, when im not using cheats hahaa), Wait are you telling me that there is more cheats?

There is a whole forum with over 10,000 mods. T_T

Do you mean iron tools? Because you said you can make "metal" tools in your post, but then show a picture of a cobblestone pick o.o
Also, gold tools are useless - I believe they have worse durability than even wood items. Iron items are the best if you're not using Diamond ones...
and yeah, there are tons of mods you can install.

Yeah sorry, I meant cobblestone :laugh1:
Are Diamond items durable though?
-
Yes, a diamond pick goes through something like 1,500 blocks (can't be bothered to look it up). And stone tools are really slow, but they are still useful ^^; If you have a lot of iron, you should make some iron ones. And diamond tools are fantastic. Once you use one, you won't want to go back XD They are so much faster and last so much longer.
