Which is better?

hmm, hard choice. I have only played gears of war 1, and up to halo 3. Both game series rock and I cant really choose between those.

I've played all halos and Gears and i kinda like the aspects of FPS and arcade shooter of halo but i love the cover to cover action but the over the shoulder TP is kinda ehhhh to me but i love the story of both but gears is ultimately better XD but Halos multiplayer stomps Gears EXCEPT!!!!!! Horde on Gears 2 the maps of Gears are just too small for me kinda like nuketown on Black Ops :/ <- I love that map but its just so damn small!!!

It was a hard choice for me.. I love both of them... Went with Halo though.

I hate the controls in Gears, so i'm gonna have to go with Halo, though i'm not too fond of that series either

I don't play either so I picked Gears because it had no votes :D

I don't really like Halo, in my opinion the series went down hill after Halo 2 and I stopped purchasing games from the halo series after the fail known as Halo ODST. I do on the other hand enjoy playing gears of war, the game has very detailed graphics and I enjoy the control-scheme much more.

Halo definitely, Its one of my favourite games.
Gears Of War is good, but I prefer Halo, I dont know why, its just something about the game that I really enjoy. I think its just the theme, and the violence, or the fact that you can just... kill aliens I guess.

Gears of War, because the story, even the stories carried over into the books, are much better than those featured in anything Halo; of course that is just my opinion. Don't get me wrong though, I still love Halo, but I like Gears' gritty story, as it has more substance.

ive never played gears of war is it worth the money?

gears man... cause I suck with halo.. always sniped out of the blue... and many many many campers out there... with the smores & the campfire yo.... HAHAHAHA. i'm messin, but yeah.... halo's cool, just not for me... so I picked gears.

Gears of War definitely

Gears of War for me. Halo and it's no aiming except for sniper rifles makes me sad. :(
