A little something for our guys!
Well, if you still haven't decided if you want NFS: The Run ... this trailer should make the difference ::-)

Apparently this game is sponsored by Baywatch.

When will we get a racing game with a difference? I'm so bored of all of these Need for Speed, Burnout and Midnight Club games. Is more sex the only thing that they could think of? Where is the innovation?

Isn't that distracting for the racers?

I haven't bought a NFS game since Underground 2, don't plan on getting this one either.

I dont really know if Im interested in this game really, I feel more dragged to the new driver game. And this "trailer" was NOT what I wanted to see, I want moar cars driving in high speed and I want gameplay.

As a fan of racing games, this is just annoying to me. Granted, I'm a chick, so it would be. haha but it's like, come on, man. I want cars and speed! And any fan of the racing genre probably wants the same thing. If we wanna see Sports Illustrated models, we can go get a copy of Sports Illustrated, right? This trailer definitely didn't make me want the game for the racing aspect of it. There was really nothing about the gameplay and cars and such... *shrug* But maybe it's just cause I'm a girl, I dunno.

    I agree.

I'm really tired of this crap -_-

And it's not just because you're a girl - there are plenty of guys who feel that way. They're probably the guys not buying this game. No offense to anyone who wants it... It's just extremely annoying that they constantly do this in so many games/advertising, when we're supposed to have "come so far."

Also, the girls are probably not going to even really have anything to do with the game, since it's a racing game and you're in cars all the time... They often do this with these sorts of games, where it doesn't even make sense :/

Like... women play games too. Are they aware of that? And this kind of advertising makes me actively want to NOT buy this product. I like racing games; I am a part of the market. We shouldn't be ignored. It's not like having it less sexualized would turn away their male customers, either. It would probably gain them female customers, though. So. Yeah.

I don't find this appealing Either. But sadly this will sell the game, such is the way of the....well, simple minded man.

Very valid points. Glad you agree. :) Yeah, I see you're right. Since a lot (most) of the comments right here from guys were saying they don't want the game either. Not based off the trailer anyway.

    :') Made me giggle..

I'm all for hot girls in my games ;), but it really does all just feel a little... lazy. I suppose sex sells, of course, but where's the innovation, the new ideas?

Moreover, I think certain developers underestimate the number of female customers their game get; at least some of whom are probably liable to be offended and therefore put off buying the product by this particular method of advertising.
