Minecraft Update needed

Just a heads up that a minecraft update has been released today, so the server needs update.

Ugh what did they break this time?

Minecraft 1.1
+ Bow Enchantments
+ New language translations.
+ Sheep eat grass and regain their wool
+ Added spawn eggs to creative (the colors of the eggs even look like the mobs)
+ Added world type options (currently only super-flat and default)
* Golden Apple recipe
* Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes
* Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
* Removed collision box from ladders
* Bug fixing

Looks like all good stuff to me.

The update isn't available in our panel, could take a few days. Can't do anything until it's there.

Thanks for the heads up though, at least I know to look out for it.

Yeah, it usually takes a couple days, if you wanna still be able to play on the server, just don't update til the server is updated.

Nope, I thought they meant tall grass as well, but they eat grass blocks, which turns them to dirt blocks temporarily.

my singl player is easy i have a skele spawner trap thankyou for dungeons :)

Sadly I already updated, all well I'll just mess around in creative.

Yeah, the sheep regrowing fur is the only thing that caught my attention. I don't care much for the other stuff

I just made a fresh install of my OS, can anyone be a dear and host the old version of the client and link to it here for those of us who don't have it? I didn't really search for it - I've looked for previous versions and had trouble finding them before, is this one on the net somewhere?

I have 1.1 available now, I'll upgrade it sometime tomorrow so for those that upgraded already will be able to play.

Minecraft server has been upgraded to 1.1.0. Let me know if you experience any issues with it.

When it's not telling me the server's out of date, it's giving me communication errors. :/

Yeah I see some errors throughout the morning, I'm gonna downgrade and re-upgrade. Backing up the world files now just in case. Will update the thread when it's done.

My just said outdated server, weird that it's giving different errors.

Ok updated the server again. The errors on the server end seems to have disappeared. Let me know if you guys are still having issues.

Did some research, seems like a lot of servers are having this issue. I changed a setting to see if it will work, so if you can try and let me know I'd appreciate it. If it doesn't, I'll revert back to 1.0.1 since egg said that he was able to play on the server even though his client is 1.1.

I just tried it, no issues.

Its letting me on as well. And it now seems animals actually spawn. Is there any way to up their spawn rate?

Not sure, will have to get back to you on that one.

I need to reinstall my OS and then I will finally be able to play Minecraft again, hopefully -.-
