Minecolony Mod
Hey peeps, just wanted to share with you an awesome mod i found called Mine colony.
This mod is essentially a way for you to create your own small settlements with different jobs employed by NPC's. :)
You know what, all this have been explained before so im just going to let you all watch tutorial videos and read on the mod developer's page.
(sorry i couldn't find updated videos but it should let you in the the basics of mine colony, rest assured the latest version is updated for 1.1, here is the tutorial wiki.)
And here is a couple of screenshots i took from my settlements, everything is built by a NPC builder except the docks, landing ship, roads and bridge.
And if you want more pictures or have questions, please feel free to request/ask. :)

omg best mod ever going to get it now screw you better than wolfs :P
-
Looks really sweet. Might give it a try sometime.
Nice boat btw, looks really good.
-
Oh, i didnt build it, it's a premade thing with the supply chest item you create. It's to feel like you just arrived to a new land. :)
I made a point of not building much of anything just to show the mod off. :)
-
-
Have you installed it correctly?
Also, if you have 1.0 it's the RC16 version. If 1.1 it's the RC17 version.
-
got it :) i forgot that pesky little meta-inf file i do it everytime also how do you make coin now because the recipe wont work
-
You can gather it from the town hall when taxes get's paid. then when you build the bank you can exchange it for iron, gold, and diamonds. :)
-
ok thanks i got it man my town is far now i like the hunter's lvl 1 place it's So camo.
-
If you upgrade hunter to level 2 you get a watchtower on top. :) example on the bottom right on the day picture i posted in original post.
Also, i'm glad you enjoy it. :)
-
ya im at lvl 3 it i kinda disapointing :( but its ok because the rest of the game is amaazing. it kinda emnds me of sim city :)
-
Heh, i havent gotten it to level 3 yet. Im busy making my quarry with buildcraft. :)
I've probably used hours to find loads of mods i like and probably an hour to download/modify files to make them all combatible. XD The only vanilla part of minecraft for me now is the beginning. And thats it. :)
-
yo you should make these compatible things avlible for download because im to tupid to know how to :P
-
Oh yea me too, it's just that some of the mods comes with readme's on how to change block ID's on their own mods and such. :) and other mods have downloads to make their mods compatible with other specific mods. :)
-
I really like the way its done, but it could still use some work. I would check out the yogbox if you like this. It has two mods similar to this and much more
-
Yea, you are probably talking about millenaire and that other one i can't remember right now. xD
I've checked out yogbox but meh, was to much crap in it i DIDNT want. :P
-
You don't have to download it all. The installer (finally a mod you don't have to copy and paste everything yourself) allows you to choose what you wanting to install. There's a few I would suggest not installing but the majority make the game WAY better
-
True, but still yogbox havent been updated to 1.1 as far as i know so...
