What is the Perfect Snack While Gaming?
We have all been in this situation: You just bought the new hit videogame everybody has been dying for. You play it nonstop for hours. As you play it, you slowly become aware that you haven't eaten anything since you picked up the controller. You are not willing to stop playing, so you finally decide to eat and play at the same time. You need something to fill you up, yet it must be convenient so not to interrupt your game. What is the best snack to eat when gaming?

When I use to game like that I normally just went with pizza rolls. Pop them in the microwave for however much time. Run back to the controller. Forget about them, 30 minutes later, you remember you made food, run in there grab them, go back to playing. Grab one as you go, nice bite size snack with fast preparation time.

Everything that is fast and tasty, I eat everything from sandwiches to ice cream to sometimes pizza and of course regular snacks.

Pizza, Doritos, and blue Gatorade.

Any fingerfoods that does not leave lots of oils and spices on your fingers. :P

omthingthat cn be made in 2 min or les so i cn make it in between cod lobby wait times and not greasy because then it feels like crap when your gaming and makes your controller messy.

I literally have boxes of this,mostly the nuts of destruction. Sometimes I play for 20+ hours at a time...
Im really awesome at being lame.

I prefer Chex Mix and/or Goldfish.

I don't really snack while gaming. If I get hungry I stop playing for a few minutes and start up again when I finish.

They are really cheap. I think that's about all they really have going for them. I can buy tons for barely anything

^ Fer real. You can get them for like a buck or less at most pet stores. The feeder goldfish are like 10 cents at PetSmart. But personally I like the big juicy ones.

Mine would have to be Grapes. Idk why but they are clean and healthy plus entertianing when thrown and eaten.

I would be forever grateful for your recipes. You see, my mom has just recently moved out with her boyfriend so I'm basically fending for myself. I'll also be headed off for college soon and I need to learn to cook something! Eating Chef Boyardee, ramen, and TV dinners all the time gets repetitive :(

I'm not a big fan of hot pockets. They are delicious, but I hate it when you bite into one and you get a string of cheese which you have to keep on pulling out and out and out until it finally breaks off. You try to swallow it, but its so long that it gets stuck and you start choking on it so you grab whatever part is left of it in the back of your mouth and start pulling it out of your throat. After pulling it out for like 5 minutes, you decide there's no way to eat that string of cheese without cutting it up. Way too much effort for one little hot pocket

I tend to use mustard when Im on a 'health' kick. Like I use it instead of veggie dip for carrots.... or in tuna instead of mayo. Tis yummy! ;)

Mustartd on fries is delicous also! When it's group gaming I like to have Dorritos and Cottage Cheese because it kicks and despite being messy I do not have to handle a controller because it is switching.

I don't eat while gaming as often as I used to. I usually just eat things like Mentos or something when I do - something that doesn't really require getting your hands too dirty or anything like that. I love drinking frozen mango juice in the summer though. Man, I wish I had some here right now...
Also Mizel, I'll have to try carrot and mustard... it sounds interesting. Sure it may sound a little yuck at first, but I often mix odd foods (usually mustard with some other random ingredient) to see if it actually turns out tasty. And it couldn't be any worse than raw broccoli (nothing I've ever tasted has been). Also, is that Elvira in your sig?

My aunt introduced me to Doritos and cottage cheese. mmmmm. One of the best chip/dip combos, right up there with cream cheese and corn chips.

Last summer my favorite snack was Steak and Cheese Taquitos dipped in warmed up Velveeta cheese.
Very delicious, but also go a little messy. I'm a cheese lover.

I love to make nachos with pepper jack cheese for a gaming snack (not playing alone).

But the Doritos/cottage cheese thing seems like one of those odd sounding things that may be amazing... i think i may have to try!

Elvira's awesome :P It turned out pretty good. I'm not too big a big fan of raw carrot, but the mustard did as good a job as peanut butter for cutting out some of the raw carroty flavor.
Also, since everybody's talking about nachos, they're awesome. They go good with plenty of different things, especially cotty cheese and sour cream.

Tater tots and hamburgers have to be the best. You can put anything or nothing on them, and they aren't too messy. Popcorn chicken too.
