New Dragon Ball Z Movie
A new DBZ movie is coming out for the first time in 10 years. This movie is written by the same writer that wrote the original DBZ series. Which means nothing from GT will be involved in it (thank god)

Japanese Release date is expected on March 30th 2013 in theaters.
Don't know when America gets it yet, but I hope we get a theater release date.
I'm pumped though, I love DBZ, watched every epsiode countless time, this was the show of my childhood. Can't wait.

Awesome! One of my favorite series. I think I'm missing a movie or two though. I watched all the episodes several times though.

Lol yeah, I was shocked too. I go to these DBZ forums and someone sourced the picture back to deviant art where someone made it and he said it was fan art that he made. People just took it and said it was legit.
Also found out the english trailer is fake. The images are all legit, but the audio track is taken from the anime. Their is apparently no English trailer, though FUNimation did they they will dub it. Eventually..

I just wanna see this new "Super Saiyan God" form, even though it will probably contradict SSJ4, but whatever. I'm just sick of all these DBZ Facebook pages posting pictures of the new form and plot information. I'm not finding out any more info about the movie until it comes out in America lol.

Lol, you got a long wait for America, I'm just going to watch the Japanese version.
And well, DBZ and GT are 2 different writers. So DBZ is the original work, along with dragon ball. GT can be considered an OVA and not part of the original series.
But yeah, SSJG is going to be awesome, the movie length is going to be 1 hour 25 minutes as well. Instead of the normal 45 minute movies.

Yeah, I heard the New Super Saiyan God form is meant to be a SSJ4 but golden and longer hair.. So I think that would be pretty badass

Well no one really what the Super Saiyan God form will be or look like, it's all just rumors for now. I don't think AT is going to release any more information on it. Definitely going to be awesome though.
My theory on what is going to happen is. Since Weis and Bills are the two gods in the movie. Weis being the god of creation and Bills being the god of destruction. The trailer said that two gods bring balance to the universe, meaning their has to be two opposite gods, or the universe won't have balance. So when goku kills bills, he'll take over his position as God, because the universe has to stay in balance.

Well that's the thing about this movie, it's written by Akira Toriyama, the original writer of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. GT was written by Toei Animations and isn't part of the original work. So this is the original writers few on everything. So IMO this is more real then GT was.
Fun fact, all DBZ movies were wrote by Toei Animations, so this is actually Akira Toriyama's first movie. My guess is it will fit in with the series a lot better than other movies have.
