    Bush vs. Kerry
Now I might be opening a can of worms here, but I'd like to know who would have voted for Kerry, and who would have voted for Bush in the '04 election? And why.

While a topic like this might spark some heated controversy, the average age on this forum is... unfortunately low, so I don't think I will expect too much... I'd like intelligible responses please, nothing without reason.

BUSH SUCKS and KERRY CAN GO TO HELL

Are examples of unintelligent responses. Please do not mirror these responses.

I would like to hear your opinion, but I would not like to acquaint myself with the level of your ignorance, so if you don't have something smart to say, save face and just don't say it. lol

I'm an ass sometimes, sorry, but it's only a by-product of the daily observation of constant stupidity.

Anyway, responses without reasons will not be addressed.

    I expect no replies.

Well I wanted Kerry to win. Basically for a lot of reasons.
    ~I'm Democratic~
And I didn't like how Bush acted and performed the election before this one. It seemed like he did not do enough for the poor people such as myself.

Oh, and Kerry was NOT for gay marriages(No offense to those people)!!! Bush and Kerry were not for it, it was just thought Kerry was since Bush wasn't(At least around my area).

    A conversation about politicians.

    ---------------------------------------------
    Inmate #001 (2:31:03 PM): i hate politicians
AOSM allan (2:31:16 PM): Most people do.
Inmate #001 (2:31:21 PM): cuz they all lie
AOSM allan (2:31:21 PM): But someones gotta do it
AOSM allan (2:31:33 PM): otherwise it's anarchy =)
Inmate #001 (2:31:40 PM): lawyers do it, my future career, but we do it to help others
AOSM allan (2:32:09 PM): Well now you're giving biased limelight, you might make a good politician.
    Inmate #001 (2:32:18 PM): lol
    Inmate #001 (2:32:20 PM): yea
Inmate #001 (2:32:24 PM): but i would hate myself
AOSM allan (2:32:38 PM): "Lawyers lie, but they help people!"
Inmate #001 (2:32:45 PM): yea lol
AOSM allan (2:32:46 PM): The same can be said of politicians
    Inmate #001 (2:32:49 PM): no
Inmate #001 (2:32:56 PM): politicians lie for selfish reasons
AOSM allan (2:33:00 PM): lawyers just make more money
    AOSM allan (2:33:01 PM): lol
AOSM allan (2:33:07 PM): Politicians lie for power
AOSM allan (2:33:10 PM): Lawyers lie for money
AOSM allan (2:33:21 PM): Unless you're doing dirt cheap or pro bono work
    Inmate #001 (2:34:22 PM): lol
Inmate #001 (2:34:27 PM): lawyers lie cuz its uh...
Inmate #001 (2:34:32 PM): fun and to help people
AOSM allan (2:37:50 PM): You're honestly under the impression that people become lawyers to "help" people?
    Inmate #001 (2:38:01 PM): no
    Inmate #001 (2:38:01 PM): lol
Inmate #001 (2:38:07 PM): thats what i tell people
Inmate #001 (2:38:18 PM): but i find it to be fun
Inmate #001 (2:38:24 PM): i've done so many mock trials and moot courts
Inmate #001 (2:38:40 PM): just getting up there in front of people during trials trying to convince them just brings up the adrenaline level
Inmate #001 (2:38:47 PM): it just feels good, thats for me
Inmate #001 (2:39:00 PM): im just pursuing it cuz i like it
AOSM allan (2:40:01 PM): That's good, I'm not challenging your will to persue a career, only the belief that "lawyers lie to help people, and politicians lie for themselves"
AOSM allan (2:40:39 PM): but it seemed like you said you were joking
Inmate #001 (2:40:40 PM): lol, i was really kidding about that
    AOSM allan (2:40:46 PM): aye
    Inmate #001 (2:40:48 PM): lol
Inmate #001 (2:40:55 PM): except the politician part
    AOSM allan (2:40:58 PM): lmfao
AOSM allan (2:41:23 PM): As there are such things as "good lawyers", there are such things as "good politicians", though few and far between they might be...
AOSM allan (2:42:02 PM): In order for a "good" politician to help people, he will need money and polularity, which he might gain through less than what is considered ethical means.
Inmate #001 (2:42:21 PM): yea, the congressman for this community, where i live is good
Inmate #001 (2:42:43 PM): he donated $1 million to our school and all the schools under his land
Inmate #001 (2:43:51 PM): he donates to hospitals and a lotta stuff
Inmate #001 (2:43:57 PM): he does stuff for the community
AOSM allan (2:44:04 PM): that's good
    ---------------------------------------------

Just an active example of what I would have said in response to the common assertions that "All politicians are liars", "All politicians are bad", etc.

If you believe that Melissa Joan Hart will know that a terrorist attack will happen before we do just because she's "living in a higher celebrity standpoint", you'd be widely mistaken. If someone knows of something before another person does, it's because they have the money to fund informants. They don't need to be a "celebrity" to do that.

What exactly is it that you want to be told the truth about? If you're talking about things like terrorist attacks etc, then theres the obvious ambiguity to avoid panic. If not then I'd like to know what else you'd really like to know the whole story about. A lot of people jump on that bandwagon, but don't really know what they want. Prove me wrong.
