How Did You Find Gamers? Vote and Respond

We the Staff of Gamers-Forum would like to know how you found Gamers. Was it through a friend or a search on the web or just from another forum. We would like your feedback on it.

Google, I searched Game Forum and this came up first :D

well it was from canman (he's my cousin)

I was looking for a good site saw Games Forum went to click it and clicked us here and said hmm cool looks like I could kill there games.

Then :Master: is born

Well I found Gamers from Google. I had a Gamers Forum as well and I had my forum put on Goggle and I search and found this Gamers not paying attention to the link. I joined posted once left for 2 months came back became a Mod a month later and a GM a month and a half later. So here I am.

lol it was fixed for me i guess

Did a web search for arcade games, and what do you know I ended up here.

I believe I count as a friend. I don't remember what I was looking for when i found this.

A veteran on the gamepro forums was spamming all over the place saying how he was leaving for the "gamers forum".
I goggled it, and wound up here. (not the forum he was talking about though)

If I am not mistaken, you were referred by me from Miniclip and so did a hand full of others. I after all have 20 Referrals. :D

That's right and almost all of your referalls were from the MSN glitch thing when your refer ID showed up at the top.

The only one I know that did that was Jen. But that works in my favor as well.

Well, it all started when my original forum, GamesTalks was supposedly sold by force by some a**hole advertisers, and it was unexpectedly shut down. So, after about half a year of this bad news, I decided to look for a new forum to join. So, I Google'd Gaming Forums, and you guys looked like the best forum out there right now, so thats how I got here. Aren't you lucky?

after conman got me to sigh up i decided that i was gonna own the arcade and my goal still lives

Well, I just joined this other forum and I wanted to see if I could find another good one. Lol, I searched YaBB and this one looked good.

I was just searching for a new forum after the last one banned me

I googled Gamer Forum.

A friend who is a member told me to join.

I found this website because I was really really bored. And I searched Gamer Forums and I had like registered for 2 other gamer forums but then I registered for this one and this is my favorite. I dont go on the other gamer forums i registered on.

All righty then. Well keep them coming and I encourage all users new and old to post on here. Thank you.

I found it on google.

I found these forums by searching "Gamer Forum" on google. I am glad I saw this one :D

what are you talking about lol, we have a few people from the UK, i know a few people from germany that signed up, not really that active, and of course, YOU blackbird lol :D you should work on getting more europeans to sign up then lol :yes:

I was at my dads work, and he put me on computer because I was bored :-P and I googled something and got Gamers-Forum :-) Was 8th April, 4 days after my birthday :-) got up at like 4am ¬¬

Got sick of all the bastards in another forum I used to post on. I went on google and searched "gamer forum". Gamers-forum.com was the first result, and here I am.

I think this proves that paying a little extra money, to put your site on the top of the list on google helps a lot. I found almost every forum that I have ever been on from using google.

I've been a quite a few forums, but only really ever used three more than a few times. This was the only one I found by searching. The others were game/webcomic related.

there is quite a few. Scot who is the 2nd biggest poster is from Scotland, Blackbird is from Sweden is really active and I'll update this list as I go look at the members list

I searched somekind of game forum what include other staff too . and I ust pick up that forum. cool page!!!!

I was looking for a gears forum of bored so I could get an RP going.
Wound up making my own.

I'm pretty sure Linux told me about it. But i could be wrong it's been a looooong timeee

while searching (on Google) for one of the best forums where hardcore gamers can express themselves, I came across this well designed site. Opening the home page and noticing the Sig poll I thought of creating my own unique, graphic John Hancock.

I was looking for a Forum for Gamers so I Google Searched "Gamer Forum", and now I'm here.

i googled "games forum" coz i wanted to solve a problem with that my touchpad disables when i write (annoying in games, and as it is atm i dont got a normal mosue) and this popped up

btw if some1 got a solution for my prob i would be glad to here from you ;-)

i googled, "worst forum in the world" and this one came up, :) lol jk i googled the words "linux gaming" and i found this forum somehow, lol i guess cause of the admin being named LiNuX

I found GS through a friend; we were talking about the paranormal what else? lol and he asked if I had ever been here. When I said no he gave me the link. I am so glad he did because I really love it here. sniff

searched for "game forum" on google.

i went on over to google and searched game forums and this was like the 1st or second one so i read a few reviews and stuff and saw that these people know their stuff so i joined.

I was on twitter and a friend recomended that i should come and check it out!

The poll has finally gotten a 100 votes. Nice. And 77 goes to web search.

I found this through a web search... something new

Just browsing The Escapist site and heard about it. Wasn't till now that I joined though.
