Apply to be a Game Reviewer

We are currently looking for new game reviewers. We only have 2 which dropped from 6 total reviewers a few months ago and we have spots to fill. Please read the entire Thread to understand more. If you are a retired or previous game reviewer, you may apply again.

There is now a new incentive to becoming a game reviewer that will help you out with features of the forum such as the arcade and casino.

Your first TWO reviews will not be awarded for. For every game review submitted from your 3rd review forward you will be awarded an extra 20 GFP along with the 3 they get for making that thread.

Other staff and current game reviewers, please check for a thread in the Game Reviewers place to find out how you can get your GFP for your already submitted reviews. It will not be 20 GFP but slightly less since this plan just came into play.

Application Process:

There is a Staff Applications Board in this board itself as a Child Board. It is inside Forum talk and you will submit your applications for a staff in that board.

Just open a New Thread and Title it anything like this "Game Reviewer Position: PUT YOUR USERNAME HERE"

A staff will look at it and approve it or reject it. It will go into the Approved and Declined inner child boards which should be set up soon.

Please open a new thread and provide us this information:

1. Name (first name will do just fine)
2. Age
3. Location (country will be fine, no need to go to specific city or zip codes)
4. Email: please post in this fashion: Admin (@) Gamers-forum.com - so the email does NOT become a link. the last thing you want is spambots picking up your email.
5. How long have you been a member of our forum?
6. How many posts do you have as of now? (check your profile)
7. Why would you like to be a game reviewer?
8. How often will you submit a review?
9. Will you get mad if you are not picked? lol :D

Just provide us this information and we'll answer your call - Please note that only YOU can see your own thread and staff. No other regular member can see your thread and you cannot see anyone else thread. This is for privacy.

9. Will you get mad if you are not picked?: I would be a little disappointed but I wouldn't hold a grudge. I would still write reviews nothing would change really. Wait if I say I'll quit the forum will that help my chances :D

Dear LiNuX, I know that this thread is old but I have a question. Can I have the change to become a game reviewer if I apply now?

You can apply anytime and all apps are taken into consideration but not all apps are approved.

This is cool, when I have been a member longer I will apply :), summer holidays coming up, equals a season of gaming!

I do video reviews with usually an assortment of gameplay throughout if that's what you want

Most people will be accepted, as long as they have good rep and are helpful around the forums I guess.

I think game reviewer position is always open. There used to be review after review being posted, but they just kind of stopped, I haven't seen new reviews in a while... I keep meaning to post another review but I never do...as soon as I finish Dark Souls i'm going to review both Dark Souls and Demon's Souls

It has been pretty quiet on the review front for a while now, I let one go a few days ago but otherwise I havnt seen a single one.

I've been thinking of doing reviews for various SC2 custom maps but them I usually forget about them

I'll do some reviews, or am I not allowed to?

Anyone is allowed to, review staff or not.

i just did one yesterday but i did it just as a wow gamer joined and i did it in the rpg because i didnt know where it went now it is in mid and only i have seen it :(
