Favorite Map in Counter-Strike

This is basically for people that play counter-strike and are familiar with the maps. The favorite map discussion took place on another topic but that was kind of off the real topic lol. So i ask you, what is your favorite map? and what is your best map? meaning the map where you maneuver best.

my favorite is de_dust2, it has been for a long time, but my best map is fy_iceworld2k, i played this map too much lol, its boring now, but i can still pwn.

my second favorite maps are the cpl maps, de_cpl_fire, de_cpl_strike, and de_cpl_mill

I love de_cpl_mill...But first comes de_dust 1 and 2. Just can't beat those :D:p.

Lol. I suck sooooooo bad at surfing in CS..I hate it >:(

lol i cant surf either that well, but i can airstrafe really fast, practice on scoutzknivez is all u need :)

Lol. I just don't get the maps...So I just give up :D.

cs_office and d2 take the cake for me for real maps, with fern taking second.

for scrims definitely d2 and fern. Nuke can suck a nutsack.

for fun i'll play scoutzknivez, awp_map, and ice2k

I'm rarely beat on awp or scoutz map =P I'll take you on if ya want ;D

date with death on my birthday? why lol, set it on my sister's bday, sep 1st lol, a day after i beat u ;)

I think my favorite was office. I loved that map but I also liked dust alot

I forgot to mention de_interno, de_aztec and cs_militia as well. Love those 3.

ahhhh yah de_aztec was kick ass too

My first favorite map would have to be de_nuke, oh the spam spots <3.

My other favorite maps would be de_concrete2_beta, de_cpl_mill, de_inferno, de_aztec2, de_dust2, de_train and de_cbble.

Anyone participating in CAL or have participated?

i have -- lotta scrim participation too, de_aztec2 is an ok map, but its not the best in my opinion, its pretty crappy, i've played it tons of time, for the last cal-o tournament it was the first round map, dont know they made the map lol, i havent seen servers using that map in a while, of course when it first came out i was excited to learn everything since de_aztec is one of my favorite maps, but it disappointed me, maybe its just me

cs_assault,de_inferno,de_clan1_mill,de_clp_mill actually i just love those maps their uber cool ;D

my favorite is De_dust2 for sure. For small maps i like Poolday and fy_snow. De_aztec used to be one of my favorites but recently i lost interest :P

Well for unoffiacial I have to say:

- fy_iceword
- fy_pool2k

As far as official maps are concerned:

- de_dust
- de_nuke
- cs_mansion

de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke for wars / scrims

fy_suicide and another absolutely crazy map I like due to the amount of effort put into creating it. (forgot the name of it)

Favorite surf map would be surf_city and surf_ruins. (haven't found anyone that can beat me on them. :P )

cs_office and cs_assault, love shooting people through walls in them.

And thats about it, I am a bit over fun maps like pool_day, iceworld and bloodstrike.

hmmm yer cs_office first for me.. just love that map.. then de_dust2.. de_dust1 isn't bad but i prefer 2.

like the classics. assault and italy for me. Italy is good for team work I find

I pub it out on death match servers. IMO best map is inferno.. *.*

i like gun game on inferno, i've won counless numbers of gun games from both sides - one of the few maps where i have skills in both teams lol, others are de_dust and d2

I actually thinkg d2 is so over played.... I been playing CS/CZ for about 5 years, and I think I can play d2 with my eyes closed....

same and its so overplayed because it is one of the best maps for scrims and cal matches, it gives neither the terrorists or counter-terrorists the advantage over the other. de_cpl maps tend to do the same

i argree
however, i like office,aim_texture 2, assault and compound

office i am 10x better as a ct than ts and on aim_texture im 10x better as ts than ct - don't ask me why because I dont know

in assault i suck with both since i dont have much exp with that map lol - and compound? never heard of it, is it a cs or de or something else map?

i play better on office and texture than other maps thats why i like them

I have 2 favorite maps. de_dust2, and de_inferno, and... Thats 2 oh... I mean 3! And de_aztec!

de_dust for multiple players..cs_deathmatch for one on one.
cs_assault and militia are great maps too.
I didn't like de_aztec, it's too wide...

I love that Italy Map even it was big map, I'd enjoyed it with my friends

my favorites official map is DD2 and INFERNO
my others favorites map is awp_india, police_map.

DD2 for multiplayer

Highschool_2 is a blast.

I also love me some Assault.

I have got to say that my favourite map has got to be cs_nuke, although I do play a lot of deathrun now :)

office was splendid
