New Theme :: Dark GF
This is the second theme added this month making a total of three full and working templates for the forum. This one is called Dark GF because, it's Dark!
It is a decent theme and if your monitor brightness is really bright, then the blue may hurt your eyes somewhat but I am fine with this. If you do not like this theme, you can always select from another active theme.
Click here to View Dark GF
To change to this theme, scroll all the down the page and on the bottom left you should see a drop down box that will let you toggle between themes. Select Dark GF and watch it change the look of the whole forum for you.
You can also do this in USER CP by Going to Edit Options And scrolling down to "Forum Skin" and changing it there.
If the colors bother you somewhat just let me know and I'll see if I can change them up in the CSS.
Enjoy this theme - one of three complete themes you can choose from now.

I think I might give it a shot for a while.
I'm not really sure if I can read dark themes, lol.

not the background, the text is mine though, very simple and 6 layers lol

Text effects are not my strong suite, lol.

the light blue is lovely I did a website in this theme once.lol
I like the font in the banner but it seems a bit crowded behind it.

just the font is perfect for it - the font actually came with the theme and he recommended it goes best lol, so i tried it out - called addcityboy - and the rest is just gradient and the 6 layers are the same, each is just 1 point lower in the Y axis than the other - i would have made like 10 layers but it doesn't look good past 6 lol

Dark sucks but cool your adding new ones... Blue is pretty good, I think I'm going use it for awhile seeing Silver and Red is old news.

yeah i plan to add on two more to make it 5 full templates users can choose from - hopefully the 5th one will be my own design lol - save the best (worst) for last

I love the dark one. If only the blue was a green, It would look much better.
I think I'll stick with this one until I see what other themes come along.

lol, im gonna see what green works with this - i like the idea because this theme reminds me of our old SMF theme which was dark with green links instead of the blue that we have
gonna see if i can get the shade for that - thanks for reminding me in a subtle way

The dark theme is wicked awesome! I'm going to use it all the time... greens would be cool too. I don't really like the banner for this one right now.

im using this theme, tried out the blue one, didn't like it too much but its alright, love the dark :-P

The dark is awesome, I'm going to use it for a while. The smiley^^^ up there does look a bit demented though.

I like the black... very nice. I would make one change tho...
use that kick ass banner that Ruki made with the 3 game folks in it. I think that would scream "badass"

its a 100 degree in my house with no water, perks of living in a huge apartment, they decide to do repairs on a day you need water - i couldn't even take a shower and i can't do anything lol, frustrating

dark theme looks great, i am using it right now, and i agree about making it green, will be like the old theme we had a year ago

BTW, I love the updated notifications.
Now I know when I have profile comments, friend requests, and whatnot.
Instead of just donations.
I wasn't sure if it just came with the dark GF theme.
I don't remember it on the other themes.

oh, thanks, i added those in manually - the thing is, the red & silver theme is just an old old theme, it won't read it properly :( otherwise it would have been here on the day i upgraded to 3.7.0 - its also available in blueworld

edit: i tried out the whole green thing, i am not sure if I am using a good shade so if anyone can comment on that, i'd appreciate it - and if anyone can recommend a shade with a hexadecimal code, that'll be awesome :)

Um, I'm sure I will catch a lot of flak for this, but why did you change the font color to this ugly green? The blue just fit soo much better. I understand if the color reminded you of your bird, and trust me, I am sorry for your loss, but couldn't you have just like, changed your theme instead of changing the colors of this one?

uh..we were discussing this before that incident and i am still testing around with the colors and if nothing works well, i'll just revert the css, no big deal - just need some test times

the graphics are there i know lol, but i am not really finalized with the colors yet, later on when something is done, I'll just use PS to change the colors
edit: well i changed it and now i think a shade of blue would do the trick more than trying to make it greenish lol

But if you're going to go back to blue, I say just use the blue you had before or maybe a couple shades lighter.

yeah the blue seemed calmer and went with the darkness
the theme creator made a lot of themes so he knows what works unlike me lol

i might just make a copy of the them and make that with the original color and keep this green and allow people to use whichever they like

i never duplicated a template without problems lol, but i'll try it out tomorrow and see if i can - well technically later on today since its 2:18 am lol, but whenever i get to it :)

I must be color blind... because i'm seeing yellow with the dark theme! Am I on drugs?? I could have sworn I stopped taking those tabs of LSD months ago!
Oh well, I support the duel-dark theme option where one has blue text and the other this yellow/green thing depending on your choice of drug abuse.

The Blue version of Dark GF Can now be selected, it is titled Dark GF (blue)
The Yellow/Green Text will remain the primary one for now.
Let me know if anything troubles you in either themes.

Good idea LiNuX, making it a choice between colors to stop arguing on which color to use. And I haven't experienced any trouble on either one.

Don't know why, but my computer upstairs stretches all the themes except for Silver and red and Default, and this one doesn't stretch at all.

its a mystery - they should all act the same way because the width is basically the same
i dont think i can fix this issue :( its fine for me on all my computers at home and i tested on a 19", 17", 15.4", and a 15"

i have 3 laptop's too, only the 15.4" inch is the laptop - couldn't try the other two cuz they are giving me problems

Dark GF is the regular yellow/green one
Dark GF (Blue) is the blue one, original color

You might wanna consider the groups colors too with the dark theme. Like Gmod, its dark red, doesn't show up well. It's not a big deal, just thought i'd mention it :p

gmod is brown and i can only change it globally, and since we have only 1 gmod on here, i'll let him pick a color if he feels like changing lol

glad you all like it :) i changed up all the images to the green and along with the missed links
let me know if you guys find something that doesn't fixed, i wouldn't be surprised if i missed something
and if you guys still can't see the changes, clear your browser cache and try again, i had the same problem the first five minutes :)

well that was tougher and longer than i thought lol - i just finished separating both files from both dark gf themes - was hard making them think they are two different but i did it
let me know if I missed some images or if the colors don't look right - the blue version should be fine because I didn't have to touch it - the green one is the one that had to be manipulated
and today would be the time to do it because i am not saving the PSDs to any of these lol - well not yet at least, im keeping Photoshop open all day just in case i missed stuff

The green is kind of off in the images; it should be more yellow-green.
The top green is more seafoam green and the header backgrounds are a darker green.
I hope I'm not being nit picky or anything, lol.

i used the same hexadecimal - care to provide me with a better one that might fit? lol - opacity is 20% for the little green lines there with the same color code
i tried different shades and they all look ugly - im bad picking colors

yea i did, clear your cache or something - ctrl+F5 in firefox - it got to a duller color for me when i did that

I really like this theme, it's the one I'm using right now :). Just kinda hard to tell the new posts though..But I'll manage!
