200 GFP to Top 5 Posters
I thought we'd make posting a type of competition for this month. So by August 31st, the top 5 posters of the forum for the MONTH will get 200 GFP each to spend anywhere they like. Whether spend it all in the casino, the arcade, get a new usertitle, or spend it on graphics.
I will update the list below every few days to let everyone know who is leading and how much you may have to post to catch up.
Here is the current top 5:
1. jakncoke - 3000 658 real posts - 23.7% 2. LiNuX - 1458 933 real posts - 65.9% 3. Trunks - 1395 601 real posts - 43.5% 4. conman1000 - 1205 367 real posts - 34.8% 5. Rukisuto - 1195 645 real posts - 53.9% 6. Scott - 1162 272 real posts - 26%
Here is something special. I will do a manual check of all of your posts. If any one in the top 5 has more than 50% of their posts in the non-spammer corner boards, they will get an additional 100 GFP.
It may sound confusing. For example. if you have 1000 total posts and only 400 are in Spammers Corner and 600 are in every other board, you will get 300 GFP instead of 200. If you have 501 posts in Spammers corner out of a 1000 posts, you will get 200 GFP.
The above rule is to encourage posting in the other boards. And this only applies to the people trying to get to the top 5 poster spots.

And also, this is not finalized...all top 5 posters of the month may be moved to a new group called the MVP Group. We had this in 2006 to early 2007 and we may bring it back again. Remember, this is not final yet!

and good luck...i'll try to keep a top 5 position myself so i only have to award 3 4 people :-P not selfish but its a way to make others fight for the spot - and i can't award myself anyway lol, dont have that option on my username

your custom user title doesn't change with your usergroup, its custom for a reason
you see the little image that says "MEMBER" right under your usertitle, that's the thing that's going to change
and even then you can reject it if you wish

its from August 1st to August 31st - its a way to increase activity during the birthday month of GF :) so everything reset Yesterday

how do you check how many real post you have again. You told me before, but I can't find it.

thats still no excuse for double posting - i check back at this thread often to update the top 5 - and who knows, someone else may not have read this thread and they could have responded - don't double post within 24 hrs again please
and to find real posts, you need to know how to work the advance search feature of the forum - this isn't the place to explain that so you were better off making your own thread - but just screw around with the advance search and you could figure it out yourself

List updated again. Rukisuto got pushed back to 5th place but she will probably be the only one to get the 300 GFP anyway :)
Linux closing in on Trunks. And Scott made a huge comeback. Conman's dreams of being in the top 5 are fading away with just over 2 days left and having to make about 500 or so posts to get on the top 5 list.
Good job to everyone :) Just over 2 days to go before this is done. The Awards will be given out the first week of September.

just updated it a bit since conman took the 5th spot kicking scott back to 6th, he won't get anything except have his name as the 6th person if he doesn't come back :)
Rukisuto pushed to 4th spot by reducing her real post count to 56.6%
I didn't update the top 3 because there hasn't been much change.
still a very close race between rukisuto, conman1000, and scott, who will win? Stay tuned for the next episode of, LiNuX's Post (The Winnerz)

I wanted to apologize for the late payout but I just did it :) I completely forgot when the weekend came because I was overwhelmed with school work. I remembered while in my english class, I wanted to give it out then but my battery was almost dead so I didn't bother.

trust me i checked lol...and i comment on all the awards i make, so just check your transaction log to see - i usually specify what it's for since it's easier for me to find later on :)
