Apparently a new game is being developed.

lol dude you are a slow man i think ;) promod come end of march out...u must have hl2 ;) when it will be so, how it will be coding was...then my squad will be change to proMod.

movement and weapons from 1.6 graphics from css the maps will be all new...i have seen 2 of them, but that is 2month ago...

Hehe me is every time a nice guy :P ending of march we will see how good is proMod at that point of development.all in all .. a lot of gamers hope so that css and 1.6 is one game ;) the one and only alternative for the next top 1st egoshooter as cs 1.6 as is now :D

why not just stick with 1.6 if their trying to make it so much like it ??? :-\

It's not a new game, it's just CS:S modded to play more like CS 1.5/1.6 or whatever, even the name suggests it's not a game "promod" = "pro" + "mod"

"pro" meaning "professional" 1.6 has better recoil making it more for professionals.
"mod" meaning "modified" meaning it has been modified to change how it runs, in this case, to make Counter Strike: Source to look more like 1.5/1.6 whatever. Get your facts straight :-)

hmmm... i recently played CZ (thanks to LiNuX) =D, and I found it was very good, but unfortunately not very popular...
Great graphics compared to 1.6's and recoil much like 1.6's... so i dunno why its not so popular.. oh well

Yeah, it isn't that popular, and I find it much, much more easier than 1.6.

its not popular because when it came out first it cost more than 1.6 and it was bascially the same thing with just a little better graphics, not even that good lol, just a lil' better. so it never picked up steam to get going and become as popular, then valve made css with better graphics and different game play which sold out nicely

It's really fun when you want to own though, it's so easy :D.

easy doesnt always mean fun for me lol, it used to be but its not always fun winning so if i do play i keep switching to the losing team lol

Haha, yeah, I love having the competition sometimes :).

its not about competition, its just that "HEY I CAN MAKE THIS TEAM WIN WHEN IM HERE AND THAT TEAM WIN WHEN IM THERE" lol
