My friend had a go at putting one of his ideas into a track, mixing ideas of Philosophy with Astronomy, creating a chilled-out hip-hop vibe.

I don't even have the equipment, all I need is one program that I can't get.

Not bad, and I'm diggin' the lyrics, but I kept waiting for it to pick up. The beat was kinda repetitive and the song as a whole felt a bit like it never left the intro. But that's probably the 'chilled out hip-hop vibe' and maybe it's just not something I'm into.

Just some criticism, does he have any other tunes up?

I know what you mean. It would be good if it kicked in, but it's one of those chilled-out tunes, not to dissimilar to those you would hear between the old, OLD, Lostprophets songs.
I don't think he has any more up right now, but I'm sure they'll be going on that Sound Cloud profile when he's finished up with some others he has in the works.
