    So Long Kansas
I had a health scare last week, legit thought I might be dying. Really put things into perspective. My life has become too much of a routine, there's no happiness for me here.

So I quit my job and emptied my bank accounts. I've got about 10k in savings and I'm heading westward.

Pretty ****ing scared to be honest, but at the same time I've not felt so alive in years. I just hope things work out, I'm leaving a good job, a wonderful woman, my family and friends.. And I have no plan whatsoever. Just a single goal: Get the **** out.

Anyway, I'm not really active on here anymore but thought I'd stop by and say tata for now.

And offer some advice. If you're unhappy, fix it. This is the only life we get so make it count.

I hope you find happiness. I can't say that I've been in your shoes so I can only imagine.

I will take your advice and fix what makes me unhappy.

I wish you the best of luck, and I hope our paths cross again.

Man good luck! I'm sure you'll have plenty of stories to tell (:
You're doing what a lot of people don't have the balls to do.

Thanks for all the support guys! :]

Been traveling a bit, visiting some old friends and family. It feels very freeing to be able to choose a destination and just go, no obligation to anyone or anything. Unfortunately it was cut short due to car trouble, which I'm hoping is very minor. It also didn't take long for me to start wishing I'd had the foresight to wait for warmer weather...

Anyway, the plan now is to use the remainder of my savings to move to Colorado. I've always loved the state: The people, the geography, the lifestyle. I feel like it has everything I need to satisfy my adventurous side while also being a good place to settle down.

Hope the car trouble is resolved quickly (and not hugely expensive lol)

    Good luck with the move!
Have you been taking any pictures?

I'm planning on getting out too, but i'm not just gonna drop everything and do it. Waiting for the right moment (Which will probably be based on my girlfriend, since I don't want to leave her behind. She wants to leave after graduating college, so unless we break up before then, that's probably when it'll be) and saving up in the meantime.

I should probably re-evaluate how I use parentheses, since the statements inside oftentimes end up longer than everything else.

Short update on my situation: Decided to visit a few more friends in NE before I leave since I won't be back that way for a long time. Weather's been amazing in the midwest the past week. Currently staying with my dad while I decide on a roommate in CO. Probably heading there this week or next.

Most of the photos I've taken are with family and friends and such, nothing exciting. Plan to take lots when I get to Colorado though; It's such a beautiful state. Might also do a bit of vlogging to keep my family/friends updated.

Sometimes that's what it takes to get yourself motivated enough to actually get **** done, lol. But good luck man, hope your **** works out as well as mine has been going.

Edit: And oh yeah, the car was fine, just a loose sensor but I had them do an oil change and all that for good measure since I'd been racking up the miles.
