History of Rap Music (Your Opinion)
What kind of rap music do you like whether its old school, chop n screw, reggaetón, or new school?
Me personally i like all but one: new school. New rap music make no sense to me what so ever. All it does is mess up the minds of people. Lil Wayne is the worst while Z-RO is the best in my opinion.
    What do you think?

Lil Wayne and all the radio crap that talks about doing drugs and slappin girls or what not is horrid. It's not good from a music standpoint, and when these kids are hearing about how much rappers like drugs, it's making it seem like doing drugs are okay...

I like Eminem, his stuff is pretty good, he's a great rapper and his stuff ranges from hilarious to very serious. Sometimes I listen to the occasional song by wu-tang or public enemy. My favorite rapper though is Outsider, he's from south korea

I dont know anything about these styles.

But like epsilonX I hate rappers that only rap about guns, drugs and so on.

However eminem is pretty good, and I know one rapper I like which style is more reggea(so I guess I choose the reggea option)

Not really old, like late 90s, like Infinite by Eminem, things like that, but
i really love listening to free styles.

Just FYI Reggaeton is different from reggae. An example of Reggaeton would be Hector 'El Father' whereas Reggae would be Bob Marley. Two totally different genres

I would have to say the stuff back then, not today's stuff... its just not right when rap/hip-hop went in that direction, according to some
artists. I can't say names, everybody has their own style of what they're telling.

I'm just making sure people understand this.

The 80's to the early 90's is what we consider as old school. And the mid 90's is what we call "the golden age" of hip hop.

Personaly, I'm a golden age boy. Sure, I like NWA, RUN DMC, and Beasties. But Wu Tang, Jurassic 5, Mos def, Dead Prez, and Tech Nine is where my heart is at.

    #1 I'd say old school rap is < 1995.
#2 Reggaeton isn't rap in my humble opinion.
