Default Mario Sports games, oddly addictive.

Im not to into playing sports games in all honesty. Rather just go out and actually play the real thing. Except for the Mario titles. I dont know if its just me but they are all way more addictive than I would have thought possible and I keep going back to them and playing them with friends in a competitive manner that can keep us occupied for hours at a time.
The more specific ones that come to mind are the ones I have at the moment including Mario Strikers Charged (wii) Mario golf (gc) Mario sluggers (Baseball on gc) Mario kart (64 download on wii). The amount of fun I have with this has made me decide to persue more of the mario sports series games.
Anyone have thoughts on any of the mario sports titles? Perhaps which ones are best or so on?

Ahhhh.... I love sports games but! The Mario sports series are so much fun! I'm sure you've tried Mario Party, but if not that's another one that'll keep you busy for hours, lol... It's also a lot of fun to get a group of people together and play it. I love my regular sports games... but it is also a lot of fun to fool around and spit out a curve ball with Yoshi

mario kart especially is just a fun game, it takes the seriousness out of sports titles but in a good way

Mario sports mix has me iffy on it though cause it uses motion control for everything which makes me feel like it would be slower game IMO.

strikers uses the motion control as well, not as much but it does, i still believe that it would be a good game to try out, the next time we go to gamestop you should just pick up a used copy

My favorite Mario Sport game is and will always be Mario Kart for N64. Can spend hours on end playing that game.

Mario Kart 64 still comes up with me and my friends and we will turn it into a competition over and over again. So much fun.
