    Default June 2009 NPD

lil' late due my internet being shut off. but here it is.

    Data care of NPD Group

    PlayStation 2 152.7K
    PlayStation 3 164.7K
    PSP 163.5K
    Xbox 360 240.6K
    Wii 361.7K
    Nintendo DS 766.5K

    PROTOTYPE (360) 419.9K
    UFC 2009:UNDISPUTED (360) 338.3K
EA SPORTS ACTIVE BUNDLE (Wii) 289.1K
TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 10* (Wii) 272.4K
    WII FIT (Wii) 271.6K
    FIGHT NIGHT ROUND 4 (360) 260.8K
    FIGHT NIGHT ROUND 4 (PS3) 210.3K
    MARIO KART W/WHEEL (WII) 202.1K
    RED FACTION:GUERRILLA (360) 199.4K
    INFAMOUS (PS3) 192.7K

No wonder Activision was all melodramatic and bitter teared butt hurt about PS3 and threatening to not support them anymore. The PS3 version is no where to be found and 360 version landed #1 for the month. Finally no Wii Play :JDallaroundparty:

I'm finding it hard to believe the DS is sellin so well. I had one when it first came out and i got fed up of it in 2 months.
It's very much for kiddies or adults imo (most games that i've seen aimed at under 12's or those brain traning ones for the parents.)

huh? surely you meant something else because that concludes everyone and that's why it's selling so well. unless you some how think teens don't care about the ds.

That is precisely what i meant. II know of 1 teen who has a DS in a group of around 50 odd. Maybe i'm wrong, but i seriously only know of 3 people my age who have a DS. Whereas i know about 20 odd have psp's.
But, hey maybe all the teens somewhere else are making up for the lack of interest from my side.

Yeah you're right. That's why i was so surprised though. I thought each city would show roughly the same trend but obv. not.
