    Default FPS

What do you consider a good FPS (Frames Per Second) in any counter-strike games?

For me i think 99 is good enough since my max is 101

a little trick - in 1.6 (not sure about source but u can try) in console type developer 1 and max_fps 300 - your FPS can go to like 250 -- BUT, yes there is a BUT - you may actually feel choppy and your choke can go up - Use this when you want to try but not to play in matches or scrims, will screw you up.

But back to points - whats your ideal FPS?

99 fps is ideal for me, originally i got into cs on a 60 fps computer, and I was going pretty well. Then I started playing on a 99 fps computer and there was/is no stopping me.

same here lol - i used to play on my laptop before - touchpad yes, but i used to be pretty good, unlike mouse - touchpad kill:death ratio wasnt as great - maybe 1:1 or 2:1 if lucky - with mouse and 99 FPS i can go 4:1 or 8:1 easily - well depends on map
