    Default Advice?

Here's my problem: just finished modern warfare 2 and now there's four games im lookin at, but i only have money for two. All four look awesome and ive pretty much come to the conclusion that i cant make this decision on my own.

    The contenders:

    1. Assassin's Creed II
+ loved the first one, even if it did get repetitive
    - no multiplayer

    2. Dragon Age: Origins
+ baldur's gate (also by BioWare) was my all time favorite game
    - im wary of 1st person rpgs. played elderscrolls: oblivion and was not real impressed

    3. Left 4 Dead 2
+ tons of multiplayer, totally brutal

    4. Borderlands
+ another fps, but i hear its pretty unique, lots of guns or whatever
    - heard the storyline is a little weak

i can get 2 out of the 4, but i cant decide which two. so what im looking for from you is your own opinion of these four, and/or what you would do in my position, particularly if you own or have played these games.

L4D2 is the only one I have from that list and it's great. They have plenty of bugs now but it just came out and just like the original L4D, I suspect they will be coming out with tons of patches and updates soon. Great fun, especially the new mode called scavenge.

Have heard good things about AC II but I thought it had an online mode?

And borderlands has some good responses as well, Have seen the game play, seems decent, but I haven't played it myself yet so I can't really say too much.

Dragon Age...no exp with this game. Never really appealed to me.

If you can get 2/4 I'd recommend L4D2. If you love zombie shooters, this is the agme to get. The new Special Infecteds, weapons, maps and game modes make it worth owning.

second choice would be either Borderlands or AC II, I'm not sure

I'd have to recommend borderlands and dragon age personally. In borderlands' case it's fun whether playing alone or with friends in co-op and certainly big enough to keep you occupied and interested for a fair few hours. Dragon Age can be played in a few different views, not just 'close-up' view, and despite not having a co-op/mp mode yet, it's still an incredible game with lots of depth to character configuration and exploration, let alone the flexibility of any choices you make directly effecting the outcome of the story (deus-ex-esque). I still have both of these games on my pc and still play them both regularly, despite completing them both a while back.

.. just my two penny's worth

Pretty much this really. Dragon Age: Origins will last you the longest time.

Nice, much better deal. And getting 3/4 is an even bigger win situation.
