How do you like to game?

This came up in a chat with a friend last night .. curious what you guys think.

I don't have the money to buy whatever comes around so I prefer to buy few games that I play for a long time.

Plus I don't like wasting money in general so if I were to buy a game and only play it for a little while and then never play it again I would be sad.

I usually purchase all the big games like Borderlands, Dragon Age, etc. Especially the ones that get better than 85 on metacritic. It helps that I get a discount so...yeah.....usually I'll check them out first though before I buy them though. I probably spend about a quarter of my paycheck per month on games.....

I only buy a few games at a time, I generally play the games for a very long time. For example, CS 1.6 - I've played it for years and even played it yesterday for a few mins (even though it bored me after that few mins).

I like to get people to buy me games (or give me money to buy games). I'll only buy a game in summer time and I research before hand. No more spontaneous buys. I rent quite a few aswell (i get free rentals XD).
I don't like a game which won't last forever

I would rather buy few games and play them for a really long time.
Like I would beat the campaign, play it again to find the collectibles, play it again on a different difficulty and so on.
Plus that way I am gaming and saving money
