Ah. Haven't owned either systems. Had the SNES but that's where I stopped with Nintendo Consoles (other than my gameboy color)

It came out to late on the 64's run and never gained the following it could have. Personally I had not even heard of it back in the days when the 64 was all that and a bag of chips.

Goldeneye had my devout following and we had a lot of fun split screen turbo mode license to kill style. I wont drag all the games we played back in the day into the conversation, but goldeneye was probably it biggest competition.

Gmaeinformer did a terrible top 200 games of all time list a month or two ago in an issue, and goldeneye was listed but not perfect dark, but all that goes to show is that more people at game informer had fond memories of one game than another.

It would be interesting to sit down and play though Perfect Dark but I dont know if I would be able to appreciate it as much as when it first came out. So it feels like a lost opportunity.

This game is a shooter...move it to shooters.

Anyways, perfect dark is basically goldeneye with a different plot. same controls, same graphics, same engine. lol. I played it a few times and its great. it's just like playing goldeneye.

I need to get the original perfect dark somehow, and the prequel on the 360

I remember when Perfect Dark was supposed to be better than Goldeneye....dont think that quite ever happened....
