Everyone else's are so schmancy!! I love how cool everyone else makes theirs, I just couldnt do it :O Im so OCD about having mine exact. Like every program I use is on a shortcut. I couldnt handle my desktop being so... bare O_O

Hahah. My laptop is a disaster, but I'm the exact opposite with my desktop. Can't stand icons/a cluttered desktop. All my frequently used programs are either on the task bar or pinned to the start menu.

Haha Oops, yea that's what I meant :P I dont have any icons (except Recycle Bin, my downloads folder, control panel, my computer). But then Ive got like... 25 programs pinned to my taskbar lol xD

Was looking at rainmeters when I came here and saw muffins', made my post, and said "Screw it." So I've been trying to make a nice looking wallpaper, and I like it! Nice and simple but still functional lol. I used RocketDock for the dock on the right hand side.

I'll probably do more/change it or whatever but for now it's nice. I've got the background on a slideshow to switch between a few different ones that all go good with the theme, too. I've found a new obsession, thanks to seeing Muffins' and going "Whelp, now I have to, it's a sign!" :P

I have a lot games that I leave on the desktop as a reminder to try them at some point. You could say I get distracted easy. Im going to make a new desktop now that I have seen some of the other cool ideas.

Whats the bar you have that displays information on the left hand side? I cant seem to find anything like it, Im jele.

so here is my new layout, I deleted anything that I could access via steam to keep it clean. I literally have 90% of my 250 game collection as well as the other games on the rocket launcher. I still dont have any good gadgets. The theme is the Halo reach for the sound effects, but the background image is random.

The duel monitor setup helps playing games in windowed mode so I can multitask. Or when I want to keep an eye on my systems specs while gaming.

Glad I was able to help you make the change :P I always liked the look of people's awesome Rainmeter desktops, but I was always nervous about switching, too. But it's awesome! :3
