Looking for some NHL insight...

I was looking for a new game to pick up at Blockbuster so before I went I had looked up the top games for the 360 and saw a NHL game was among them.
I'm a huge Leaf's fan and never played a NHL game before since most of my experiences with them get me pretty bored.

The question: Has anyone played a NHL game and are they worth giving a shot?

personally i never ever played NHL, it's not my thing here especially in my country, why?
cause the game never been played or held on any stadium here.

It's pretty hard for hockey not to be popular here. I'm in the northeast and with Canada right next to us it's basically hockey county.

i've heard some very good things about nhl 10 for the 360 from a friend of mine, altho i can't personally speak for it .. might be worth looking at if you haven't checked it out already ..
