How easily do you trust people?

Well? Do you trust people too easily or are you one of those people that don't let a lot of people in?

As for myself, I trust people at the drop of a hat. Then if I find out they betray my trust... let's just say we have an issue. Naive to the end I guess. I'm sure as I get older I'll build a wall, but for now, yeah, I trust people beyond too easily. Which is one of, if not THE BIGGEST weaknesses of mine.

Not sure why I posted this thread, guess I just wanted to put my thoughts out there.

I'm very trusting of people and I take people on their word. Yet it usually ends up costing me.....

I barely trust anyone, I choose a few people in my life that know a lot about it me, I like to keep a lot of stuff just for myself.

Depends on what I'm trusting them with. If a mechanic is fixing my car and I've never met him, I'll trust him with my car but I wouldn't trust him with my life. Same goes for doctors..I'll trust them to prescribe me medication but not to fix my car.

I don't trust many if any. I tend to keep people at a distance, giving them just enough information to get by, but I hardly ever open up entirely to people. I find that when I do, they just let me down... or hurt me... or both....

I'm almost too quiet, I stack one hypothetical situation on top of another one and never really carry anything out. I only talk when someone talks to me, and, like a natural born idiot, I tell them my problems without thinking about what I'm saying. I'm not very social I guess.
